I am unable to navigate around some websites beyond the page on which I have landed. The site briefly (split second) looks OK and then gets slightly greyed and no other links on the site are accessible. Examples of sites: https://www.signia.net/en-gb/ https://www.flickr.com/

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Simon,

Here are some steps that may solve the issue:

  1. Try clearing Firefox cache. Does it help?
  2. If it does not help, also try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website). Does it help?
  3. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. Does the problem persist?

Looking forward to your update!

Hi Denys, Many thanks for helping me with this issue. I have so far tried clearing the cache and then clearing cookies and data, neither of which allow me to access Flickr. I will try running Running Firefox in troubleshoot mode at some other time, probably next week. Thanks again.

Hi Denys, Have just tried running in troubleshoot mode where there is no problem, so will have to delve deeper to ascertain where the problem lies. Many thanks

That's great, thank you for trying!

If the issue doesn't happen in Troubleshoot Mode, the most likely cause is an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. See this article for further troubleshooting steps.
