I cannot locate Adobe Acrobat extension to install in Firefox, v143, operating within Windows 11. I had previously been able to install this extension in Firefox operating within Windows 10.

Hi Neal,

According to an article I found, you have to install it manually from file. In the add-on manager (access it by Menu -> Add-ons, or Ctrl+Shift+A) click the cog icon, then select Install Add-on From File. The XPI file itself should be under C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Browser\WCFirefoxExtn\WebExtn\signed_extn (or maybe in the 64-bit Program Files folder).

If this does not help, for further info refer to this thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acroba.../14894957

Regards, Balázs

Balazs:

Thank you for your explanation. I did locate the .xpi file but within my Program Files folder. I experienced the same system response when I selected the file to be added as an extension. However, when I selected Debug Add-Ons from the Manage Extensions page, a new webpage opened showing the Adobe extension as a temporary status and asking if I wanted to load the temporary add-on. I am hesitant to load the temporary add-on. Are you familiar with this?

Neal

Hi Neal

What is the add-on that you are looking for supposed to do?

I think there might be a few different Adobe add-ons available.

Paul:

The add-on is supposed to convert an html webpage into an adobe acrobat document.
