Tab and homescreen

Simo Tanska

Hello,

I believe that the latest update either has a bug or a new feature that I don’t like. In the past when I went to the homescreen from a search or a website and closed and reopened the browser then it was still in the homescreen. However now when I do the same it always opens the latest search or website that I was in. I would like to have a setting to turn this off unless I missed the setting for it. I would like to add a video of me demonstrating this but for some reason you only have option to add pictures.

Kind regards, Simo

I linked a YT short to show the issue but I took it down as I honestly shouldn’t even need to do that. Just literally add an option to send a video here. Anyways I might be done with Firefox in iOS.

Could you check your startup setting to see whether it changed from Home Page to Last Tab: Choose your opening screen for Firefox for iOS. If the settings in that article are not working, I wonder whether the app isn't actually closing properly.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I’ve tried it with both settings before and now and the issue still persists. As for the app closing properly, I can’t really answer. I just close Firefox normally like any other app from my phone tabs.
