Ai Chatbot Shortcut

Whenever I press alt+ctrl+X it pulls up the stupid AI chat bot. I need this shortcut for google docs as its the spellcheck shortcut. Please help me find a way to disable this, I don't need AI crammed into every corner of my life.

Hmm, Google could block that shortcut from also being processed by Firefox, similar to how it would intercept other editing shortcuts that could trigger a built-in function (like Ctrl+B, Ctrl+U). I'm not sure why it doesn't already do that. ??

The developers have added a change to Firefox 136 (still in beta testing) to ignore Ctrl+Alt+X when the AI Chat feature is disabled -- it will still open the panel when the feature is enabled. Firefox 136 isn't scheduled to arrive until March 4th.

Between now and then, until Google updates Docs, you would still need a workaround. There is some discussion of that in the following Reddit thread, if you want to go down a bit of a rabbit hole of using startup scripts to modify built-in browser behaviors. This is not officially supported.
