Disable "Show Search Terms [intead of URL]"

On Firefox for Android, follow these steps:

1. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner to open up the menu
2. Scroll down and click Settings
3. Under General, click Search
4. Under Address bar, turn off "Show search suggestions" by pressing the toggle.

Sorry, that appears to be unrelated to this problem. Incidentally I already have "Show search suggestions" disabled.

I had the opposite problem on one of my devices. After executing the search, the address bar switched to the URL instead of showing only the search terms. That was a tad annoying for me, as I had to retype the search terms to repeat the search with a different search engine. However, just today this behaviour stopped.

Searching again within the search engine page (typically by pressing a magnifier icon) switches the address bar to the URL. Maybe this is helpful for you?

There's no option in the settings to turn off "search terms", what can I do to turn off this garbage??
