I am using Firefox on Ubuntu 18.04 (current release 111.0, but the problem has occured over the last two releases). I like to open the individual page from a Youtube playlist so that if I get distracted, I won't lose my place. I do this either when disconnected from the internet or using the "work offline" feature. Previously firefox would show either "Problem loading page" or "Serve not found," but now it keeps trying to load youtube which sucks up time, cpu, and memory. These are pages that I have never been to before so there should be no record in history, but even so I have tried clearing my history and this did not help. I have tried a bunch of other sites, but Youtube is the only site that I have seen this behavior on. Attached is an example (The google page and the first youtube tab were loaded online). The shown youtube tab (second tab) and a random webpage from google (last tab) show this behavior. Could you please help me.
