What desktop? X11 or Wayland? I see Clear Linux is a rolling distro. i would recommend you fire up a usb stick with another live OS and test.
Thx, same on x11 and Wayland. Dual booting to my old Ubuntu 20 ofc works, but whats the fun in that.
Clear Linux on this Older dual core Skylake laptop makes it like it suddenly has 4cores, especially with IWD wireless. It is just Firefox Reddit cat videos that i have problems with. :-(

But i did not do step 3 install any extension, i mean Reddit cat videos in Firefox should work without any browser extensions... ;-)
After some self educating (trying to), this is where i am now. Please correct me if im wrong... Firefox has an ambition to use GPU acceleration to improve the user experience. Sometimes GPU acceleration fails and videos can not be played. The log shows "NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_FATAL_ERR". Failing to use GPU acceleration can be (most often is?) in an external software. To know why/what/where can be tricky but log entries before this error can give a clue.
What im missing is... what clues do i have in my log? What other logging can i do?
more involved logging may be needed The NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_FATAL_ERR errors are the result of a detached manager which means that the MediaSourceBuffer has become detached. In that sense, it's an MSE problem. However, the MSE problem could stem from libav/the underlying decoder causing parts of MSE to fail. It may also stem from elsewhere. We have more detailed logging available with MOZ_LOG, which may be useful to diagnose what's going on. We output these errors/warnings on fatal decode to give some context, but if the problem is non-trivial more involved logging may be needed. I appreciate the message is not particularly helpful if this is a VA-API issue, but depending on what is erroring it's not straight forward to get it out of the MSE machinery. In this case it would be helpful to indicate why the buffer became detached if it stemmed from an error.
