How can I close a tab when the site puts up a dialogue? My wife, without knowing how, opened a tab in Firefox on her iPhone with a URL starting vpn-guard.org/version, and this tab put up a dialog asking her to upgrade vpn-guard with OK being the only option; other controls such as the menu, back arrow, tab list did not respond. Since she does not use a VPN and I could find very little information about the domain, it seemed highly suspect. We therefore wanted to close this tab, but since the other controls were inactive this seemed impossible. We tried closing and restarting Firefox, and restarting the iPhone, neither of which helped. In the end all I could think of was to re-install Firefox, which of course did work. Could we have done this better?
