Buying crypto while using Firefox and MetaMask

I can open Firefox with zero problems. If I am trying to make a purchase, for example on Sup Ducks, using MetaMask to validate the transaction, Firefox disappears and the screen goes to my desktop. If I select the FireFox icon again the window for MetaMask shows up minimized. After confirming the transaction the MetaMask window is gone and the screen goes to my desktop again. Once again, click the Firefox icon and the window for Firefox opens but is minimized. Hopefully this illustrates my challenge.

Question is how to fix so that the window for my example, Sup Ducks, stays open and the MetaMask window/popup shows up on top/front of the Sup Ducks page.
