I have always used Norton. Please describe the problem in detail.

What Norton are you using? Have you checked for updates?

As another Comcast / Xfinity user, Norton from Comcast is a 2nd class version of Norton which has been having a problem getting their "stuff"' working properly with Firefox for quite awhile now.

My advice is to get a different "free for personal use" security suite; there are many to choose from.
