I'm using an old, no longer supported add-on called Reminderfox that saves its contents in ics format. I used to be able to import this to Google calendar and Thunderbird but for some reason they and also Microsoft Outlook won't now import the ics file. They either give an error as in Thunderbird's case (error, no items to import) or just remain greyed out so I can't do anything else as in Google and Microsoft's case. I have submitted the ics file to an ics verifier online and it says there are no errors. I have also looked at the file in notepad and can't see any obvious errors, although I'm not fully conversant with the ics format. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be or anything else I can try please?

Hello,

I am using the latest stable release of Thunderbird client on Windows 11 and just today it's been asking me multiple times for a password to my Outlook account. I have kept adding a one time app password through the official Microsoft website under account management but it's been asking a few times that it needs a password.

Do you know if there's been any outages to the Microsoft servers or what this issue could be related to? Is there a way I can send any logs directly to you that might help find the issue?

Thank you for your time.

After upgade Thunderbird to 115.0.1 version, all my outlook.com email accounts encounter an error:

Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead Thunderbird detected a potential security threat and did not continue to account.live.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What is the problem? Doesn't TB support outlook.com accounts anymore?

thanks.

Thunderbird 115 not allowing me to send e-mails

Server: smtp.office365.com Port: 587 Connection: STARTTLS Authentication: OAuth2

A browser looking window opens up with a long URL in it (https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/v2.0/authorize?response_type=code&client_id=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Flocalhost&scope=https%3A%2F%2Foutlook.office365.com%2FIMAP.AccessAsUser.All+https%3A%2F%2Foutlook.office365.com%2FPOP.AccessAsUser.All+https%3A%2F%2Foutlook.office365.com%2FSMTP.Send+offline_access&login_hint=xxxxxxxx%40hotmail.com) the windows is just blank and the dialog box for sending opens. The browser window shuts and the sending dialog box just sits there.

It ends up timing out saying it can't connect to the smtp server. I cannot send any e-mails at all. Please help or advise. Thank you!
