I have tried all fixes suggested by others reporting similar problems with previous versions, but this was noticeable for me yesterday afternoon right after some downtime and the latest version (for me) of Firefox was installed. Every time I try to use a site requiring recaptcha, the wheel spins and I get no choice to log in. I've cleared cookies and my cache, refreshed Firefox, etc. Nothing works.

Today May 1, I noticed that any website that shows a recaptcha checkbox, including the google recaptcha demo (https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api2/demo) only shows an infinite spinner in firefox v125.0.3. I've tried the same sites in chrome and edge and the recaptcha works fine. In FF, I have cleared my cache, disabled tracking protection, disabled anti-virus and tried troubleshooting mode - still get the infinite spinner. Last week, I had no problems with recaptcha.

I am using Firefox 125 in Windows 11. And this just happens recently.

Sometimes, quite frequently, when I click the addressbar wanting to input or select a new address. The Firefox UI freezes (before the dropdown list of addresses is shown). The video/audio/other effects are still working, and from task manager, it does not cost more CPU/mem than usual. But it does not response to key press or mouse action. All I can do (that I know of) is killing the processes. The problem does not seem related to "current" webpage I am browsing. And I have not installed new addons for a few months.

Any idea what should I look into?

Hi, I can't use Firefox because a captcha won't complete loading. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache and disabled add ons. I am using a vpn (PIA). Chrome and Edge both load and operate OK. Thanks in advance.

Captchas are an ongoing issue. Firefox seems to have a LOT more captchas than other browsers. Is there a problem between Mozilla and Google?

How do I get Firefox browser to stop from loading automatically upon booting up or restarting?? This has been happening since the last browser update. I checked the Firefox controls but could not find a button to toggle this off. Please advise. Thank you.

I use Disqus daily. A few months ago it became necessary to disable the shield in the address line. Yesterday captcha quit working. I input my email and password and click captcha and the circle starts spinning and never ends. This happens on all sites using Disqus.

 Is there any way to get Firefox to work with Disqus and Captcha?

After updating Firefox to Firefox 125.0.3, Google ReCaptcha2 stopped working on my sites (I use the invisible version). Then I checked the version from the official website and it doesn’t work either.

I read about self = this on stackoverflow, but this also does not help on my sites. After clicking, nothing happens, and there is an error in the console.

Has anyone encountered this?

Tested on absolutely clean Firefox without plugins, with security turned off, without cookies and account.

When i start browsing from Holland IP via VPN the problem are solving. In Chrome, Edge ReCaptcha2 working fine.

The problem is that after I click "Sign In", that little circling line becomes the Energizer Bunny, circling away and circling away, but not logging me in.

I have no problem logging in using those login pages on Edge, so confident of username/password combo

I have (repeatedly) turned off tracking protection, Adblock Plus & Privacy Badger for the site, cleared history (cookies and cache, as well as all), followed the complete set of instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords, and refreshed Firefox. Still the same problem.

HELP - I don't want to be forced to use Edge :)

Need help figuring out why Firefox has a memory leak after an extended use of Firefox browsing. Don't know if its the result of an extension having this issue, or if its a Firefox bug. When we log into our Yahoo email, there's a small triangle (see screen shot) next to the padlock on the address bar that says "connection not secure".

Not sure what to do to get rid of it.

My provider has deleted my email account without prior notification. I have no second email adress registered, and also no access to my old email adress.

How can I change my primary email adress now?

So I noticed an issue with certain websites a few days ago. I was trying to make a hair appointment online, it was asking me to fill in my email, and the box wouldn't let me click on it. I used a different browser, and it worked just fine. Same thing today: I was trying to make a lab appointment, the next step was verifying I'm not a robot, I clicked the box, and it had a loading circle eternally. I tried it on a different browser, and it worked within seconds, no loading. I've never had this issue with Firefox before! I tried clearing my cookies and cache, and that didn't do anything unfortunately. Let me know what I can do to fix this problem! I normally loved Firefox and it's my main browser, so I'm hoping to resolve this issue. Thanks so much!

Jack here. I am a non-tech person and don't know the technicalities behind this issue. I have a Digital Media Website which loads and works quite fine when opened in other browsers but the site is loading very slowly in Mozilla and when it does load it has breakages.

Can anyone please tell me what the issue might be and how to fix it?

I've reported these issues before with no response. I've uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache and cookies searched another forums et cetera. Why must I manually update when it's set to auto update? When I set controls to ask where to download items it bypasses that and downloads it as a temp file where I have to cut it out of explorer and paste it where I would like to save it.
