A website added as exception is deleted next time Firefox is used. Cannot find any solution. Can turn off ETP manually via shield symbol in url bar.

hen I click on my home page or Fire Fox it has a section on soccer. Since i dont watch or am i interested in soccer; how can that be deleted. After deleting it how would I add Nascar?

Od kilku dni próbuję uzyskać dostęp do pewnej strony internetowej za pomocą przeglądarki Firefox na systemie Windows 7, ale niestety nie działa. Czy ktoś z Was korzysta z Windows 7 i ma zainstalowaną przeglądarkę Firefox?

Czy mógłbyś spróbować otworzyć tę stronę: https://konwerteryt.pl, aby sprawdzić, czy działa ona poprawnie, czy też pojawia się ten sam problem (np. „uszkodzony link" lub „nie można nawiązać połączenia z witryną")?

Firefox 157.0 is displaying some websites incorrectly. Newsmax pages turn white and McMaster-Carr is also displaying incorrectly such that I cannot make an order even if logged it. The same sites work correctly in Edge which I have an intense dislike for. I have already restarted Firefox and rebooted Windows. This started after the Firefox 157 update.

I contacted C5 asking why I couldn't get subtitles while watching their streaming or on-demand programmes. They said, after asking about my laptop, that subtitles on the website via Firefox aren't currently available. Why is this and is there a way around it? They did say that dependent on which programme, the subtitles will likely be available on the 5 Stream app, but I don't watch on the mobile phone.

Not onlu amazon search is gone there are other search engines that I do not want. they were added but not by me! What's going on here? You're taking up my time undoing your messes.

I have the following error message......."The Application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sestrace.exe tool for more detail?

This error message pops up when I click on the Firefox icon. How do I correct this error message?

Well I am continuing and repeating my question placed in August 2026, where I found that Firefox V154.x stalled in an erratic way that made it completely impossible to use it or to send a crash report. So your suggestion to send a crash report was not very bright or helpful. I deliberately omitted the subsequent updates, to try again after a main version update. Alas, we have the same situation again in V157.0, this time more predictible. The program stalls immediately after trying to open another tab. And again, you can kill the program only by task manager.

The additional question I have, is how to switch off the annoying update message, as long as Firefox is dysfunctional after an update, I'd like to avoid any update under all circumstances. I have to work with Firefox, so it is more than an leisure thing for me, I cannot afford to cripple Firefox by an unintended update.

I had to reinstall the last known working version (153.03) to send this message.

This just started on October 4, 2026, my home page normally has great news and other articles but now the page seems to be in a constant loading mode. Nothing is displayed.

I’m still unable to access Newsmax articles in Firefox. I am getting this error:

“You don't have permission to access this resource on this server.”

The important detail is that Newsmax works normally in Microsoft Edge on the same computer and the same internet connection, so this does not appear to be an IP or general connectivity problem. The problem appears to be specific to Firefox.

I contacted support yesterday but did not receive a response. Could you please have your technical team look into the Akamai/Firefox access denial associated with the reference number above?
