Despite re-installing Firefox sidebar is still missing (I spent 3 full days trying to fix it before re-installing). I also can't obtain another tab - I'm restricted just to the one page I'm currently using

Please can you (a) add to menus, or create a button, so users can see the tab groups they have created and (b) prevent upgrades to Firefox from deleting a user's tab groups.

In Firefox 152.0.5 under Windows 10, when I hover the mouse pointer over a tab, a balloon pops up showing the text that is on the tab. I find this extremely annoying as I can read what is on the tab. I have searched on the Mozilla site, and I have searched with Google, all to no avail. How can I disable those redundant popup balloons?

Hello everyone, Until a few days ago, Firefox version 140.12.0esr included a button to "Save windows and tabs of the current! session." Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available in the current version, 152.0.1. However, for many Firefox users, saving the windows and tabs of the current! session is absolutely essential. What options are there now to resolve this issue? I would appreciate any suggestions! If there is no way to restore this feature, I, too, will unfortunately have to switch browsers after 20 years as a Firefox user. Many thanks in advance for your help and any information. Before the update, I could use "cmd+shift+[number]" to open a new container tab. Now, nothing works. "cmd+t" opens a tab with "no container", which is completely different.

I already tried going to "about:keyboard", but opening a new container tab isn't even listed as an option.

It says to drag and drop but that does not work. I minimized both windows and dragged the one tab to the 'larger' window and nothing happens. My email keeps opening in a new window and it never did before. It was a tab in my original window, and now it is so much harder for me to work.

Let's say I have a group of 5 tabs. If I open a new tab from any of those tabs, I want that new tab to end up at the right of the group but not part of it.

Can I do that?

After an update (seemingly, I did not run 'sudo pacman -Syu'), the tabs have changed in look and to be frank i find the new layout ugly. How do I turn it back? Attached is a photo of the new tab groups, i couldn't get one of the circular tabs.

I often use the process manager to find open tabs, since only the front one in each open window shows up in the Window drop-down menu. (And I sure wish those windows would read as the WEBSITE and not the specific page name, as it often gives no help in knowing what website it is)

However, sometimes, like just now, it won't show one or more open tabs! Why? Today I was looking for my Google Voice Messages page, and did not see it anywhere in the list. I thought, maybe I had closed it, but when I manually scrolled through all my open windows, I found it on one of them! Can we not count on the process manager to show us all open tabs?

There must be some setting I accidentally engaged by hitting some kind of key combination but there are the contents of 2 separate tabs on the FF window. Maybe it's some new 'feature' they added but I right clicked on the tab and nothing looked like it applied to this. What is it and how can I make it stop? I just want each tab to have the contents for that site. If you know what's going on, maybe explain it simply and I'd also like to thank you.

In an accounting/payroll software application, a new window opens instead of a new tab. How to I fix this?

I've already tried about:config method as well as the simple 'tabs and browsing' method within Firefox settings. Nothing seems to work.

After a recent update, all my tabs disappeared. I had set them in tab groups. It's all gone. This is despite having settings selected to restore tabs from previous session on opening.

Trying to get stuff done. It's hard when you start a task in one tab ,switch to another tab to start another task, and when I switch back to the first tab, it hadn't completed the task, it actually paused when I left it. What's the point of multiple tabs, when only one is working at a time? I expect it to continue with the task, while I go elsewhere to complete a different task.

I have experience with chrome as i used to close the window then open i have my last session all the tabs occuring but in firefox im unable to do that even in settings of startup i have selected to open my previous tabs and windows but nothing opens just a blank screen also i cannot open recently closed tabs by command + shift+ T kindly help it is very annoying as i lose my presvous sessions again and again. When I try to drag tabs to reorder them, while I'm dragging it, it shows a small transparent preview at my mouse cursor. After about 1 second of dragging it, my Mac enters mission control as if i pressed the F3 key. When i let go, it opens the tab i dragged into a separate window. This happens even when i haven't dragged the tab out of the toolbar.
