Every time I open Firefox it crashes after a few seconds. I have tried refreshing and reinstalling. Please help.

I have looked over this computer high and low for any profile files in every way recommended on this website. I can't find it, regardless of what I put into terminal or what settings I change. This was a problem before the update to tahoe too.
Help! Reinstalling has not helped yet, or what ever is going on???

Mozilla changes to www.firefox.com and loads wrong (google) browser, NOT THE REAL Firefox!
