Yet again Mozilla have decided that yellow folder icons are not needed and have amended the code so user chrome files no longer work. Is there a new way to return the folder icons to yellow or are we stuck with the black icons with a white frame?

It only happens on some websites (Wikipedia for one) and doesn't happen anywhere else in my system. I was unable to root out the reason for this and all solutions seem to be for when there are boxes instead. I don't see boxes, only Russian letters for some reason.

Is it a known issue that opening JIRA web pages immediately crashes and closes the Firefox browser on Windows 11. It never happened on Windows 10 however due to Windows 10 end of life we've been forced to upgrade at work. Now this crashes on a key webpage (we're software delevelopers). So we might have to change to Chrome which I really don't want to do. It would be great if you could find any or many crash reports I've filed and fix the issue.

The previous version allowed me to have Firefox as my browser and Brave as my search engine. Now Brave is both my browser and search engine. In the general settings, it says Firefox is my default browser. I'm confused. I just want to be like it was before the update. Please help.

I recently wiped & reloaded my computer. Multi-Account containers re-installed successfully & I see all my containers. The issue is with sign-in to Reddit.com website. If I try to login using a container, I get invalid username or password error. If I login without using a container, it's fine. I am copy/pasting my account info. I tried different containers; same issue. Tried creating a new container; same issue. Try again without using a container; login to Reddit is successful.

Hi, Since the last update for Mozilla on the laptop (updated on 6/Oct/2025 - version 143.0.4 (64-bit)), all the shortcuts to websites in Firefox homepage I had pinned have disappeared. Also I can't add new shortcuts. I already have shortcuts enabled in Settings>Home>Firefox Home Content>Shortcuts.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Firefox is not saving my passwords. Every time I start up my laptop, all the saved passwords are gone. I have tried a refresh and a new install as well, but the problem persists. I have to sync to my other machine to restore them.

With Firefox 144, there is unasked for/unwanted AI introduced. How do I ensure that all AI is completely disabled in my browser? I found a link describing some settings, but want to confirm this will disable ALL AI in the browser. I don't want it, don't trust the privacy/security holes yet to be found and would prefer it was not included in Firefox to begin with. The list I've found is:

Why not leave Firefox as a security/privacy conscious browser and put out a separate AI browser (FirefoxML?) for those that are not as concerned. How does Mozilla ensure that no information is leaked through AI from sessions for professionals that must protect physician/patient, attorney/client information or other legally confidential information?

I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?

Firefox freezes when I try to sign into YouTube via Google. Becomes totally unresponsive and I have to close browser. It's the only site this happens on. I have Verizon FIOS and have been able to receive cable channels on my laptop until recently. Now I cannot access them without a sign-in which leads to some sort of error that I don't understand. Any help?

mozilla won't save my previous windows and tabs even though i have that check marked in the settings. it's been like this for months. to keep them i've had to keep my pc on for moths. help, i'm thinking of leaving Mozilla because of this, it's incredibly frustrating to lose all my work every time.

It takes almost a minute for my home page to come on after I click on My Firefox icon. That has only started happening in the last week or so. But . . . also . . . when I sign into my email account with my ID and complete password, even though I check the "stay signed in" box, that does not happen. I need to fully sign in each time, and that, too, time-wise is somehow related to the delay in getting my home page up. On several occasions I have gotten a message that Firefox is not responding. Out of a sudden all of my bookmarks were lost. I tried importing bookmarks i had previously saved in an HTML. Did NOT work. I tried "revert to older date bookmarks." Did NOT work. I tried "import from another browser."Did NOT work. Funny thing is that with the same HTML file i extracted from mozilla when i made a copy a couple of weeks before, i was able to upload all bookmarks to Opera but not to Mozilla!!!!
