i have assurance wireless home page on my desktop and when i try to get it in firefox i get this messageInternal Server Error

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.4.25 (Debian) Server at myaccount.assurancewireless.com Port 443 works in edge and Chrome and ie/able all adons cleared cookies done everything i can even called assurance and they were able to access it not sure why i got it in edge and ie'

Until the most recent update of Firefox, I was able to access atrribute data of a GIS map feature on the GIS Open Data, State of Michigan website:

Now, I can not click on any feature. I can do this, however, using Chrome. What is the issue, here?

The photos page in OneDrive is having trouble loading most of the time. The page has the OneDrive header, and the section where the photos should show up is simply blank. Screenshot attached.

This is working fine on Google Chrome, but I would prefer not to use chrome for privacy reasons.

Can anyone help me with this?

When FF on my Windows 10 machine crashed FF asked if I wanted to refresh FF. I said yes, and FF reopened as usual with all my tabs. After I closed and reopened FF the next time, it reopened without any of my tabs. I then discovered that FF had unchecked the “Startup Open previous windows and tabs” box, which I had previously religiously monitored to be sure it was checked. So I lost all my previous tabs.

In my sessionstore-backups folder I found the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 as last in a list of three more recent file names. I then dropped the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 in the scrounger tool on this site: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It expanded in the big window, and when I clicked on Save uncompressed JSON as text, I see all the URLs run together in a text file.

How can I use this information to recover my tabs, please? If so, how? Or is there a better way to use the Scrounger – or another – tool?

Otherwise if I delete the three more recent file names in the list above the upgrade.jsonlz4-20 file, and restart FF will I recover the missing tabs? If so would I the check or uncheck the Startup Open previous windows and tabs box?

Lastly, can I restore my missing tabs using Windows’ “System restore” tool from 3 days before the crash?

Hello. I don't know which Firefox release broke this essential feature. The problem started after I enabled Aero in my Windows 7 system. It happens often if I have an open tab with https://www.o2tv.cz/ which uses some DRM to play TV content.

Cannot connect to www.imdb.com Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.imdb.com because this web site requires a secure connection.

www.imdb.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

Seriously? Is this a joke?

There is nothing wrong with the site. It is well known and I have used it for years. Most recently as 5 days ago.

Please add an exception to this

The last bunch of updates FF has only gotten worse. There are so many websites I use to be able to access and now they only function partially or lad weirdly that I am being forced to another browser. So sad. Why do they mess with something that worked?

I'm sure someone knows how to change pdf icons. I've only been able to change the shortcul icon (which doesn't need changing - microsoft didn't work its evil on it). Please share your expertise!

I recently changed the Privacy & Security settings in Firefox v100.0.2 (Mac) to "Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all Windows". Since that change, even though Google is my default search engine, all searches take me to a window that says: "You’ve enabled HTTPS-Only Mode for enhanced security, and a HTTPS version of www.searchbaron.com is not available." I did a google search and the recommendation was to delete the searchbaron extension in Extensions but there isn't one there. I like the security of only going to https sites and if possible would like to keep that setting.

Does anyone know what is going on and how I can fix this? Thanks.

Using Firefox on desktop, Windows 11. I am a long term Firefox fan/user.

My problem is I cannot find anywhere an easy method to add a shortcut on my Home Screen (which has now been a FF feature for some considerable time).

I am sure there was something available to do this in a prior version some time back. If I search the internet, I only come across articles describing how to do it on Firefox Android.

I know I can manually edit a box on the Home Screen to create what I need.

Sometimes new web sites that I visit appear in the boxes and I can then pin them in place - but the behavior around this is very erratic and unreliable - seems like random chance for an icon to appear on the home screen for a newly visited site. If this was more consistent, I could work with that.

BUT - where is the **intuitive** option??!!

I should be able to right-click on a tab and select "Add to Home Screen".

As simple as that.

Or drag and drop a link, or tab to the home screen - but this just opens the link. I have tried everything obvious that I can think of.

The problem is : Some of the time FF just records 0 bytes file and says nothing. I suspect that FF inspect the URL of the links and discard ( perhaps for security reason ) ones that do not begin with HTTP.

The bypass is : One has to copy the link and insert in in the new page of FF.

The solution would be to change FF code.

I'm uploading changed webpages to the internet on a daily basis, using Firefox. I'm Using Firefox version 100.0 now and I have discoverd a problem with version 100.0 . From Firefox version 99.01 and downwards, this problem never existed before. The refresh button in Firefox 100.0 ( Ctrl+R ) no longer works good anymore! Sometimes it works good, the other time it's not working correct anymore, you will not see the latest uploaded webpage on the internet. The only solution to this problem is bij closing Firefox and restarting it. Only then you will see the latest uploaded webpage on the internet. Please have a serious look at this annoying problem in version 100.0. This problem can only be discoverd by people who are uploading new webpages to the internet, not bij the regular internet-users/visitors.

Fire Fox no longer appears on the menu bar. I have to go to programs and open it each time I want to use Fire Fox. It will appear on the menu bar as long as I have it open but leaves the bar if I close it.

My tabs keep disappearing. I have multiple tabs open but some of them just disappear for no apparent reason and I can't bring them back. I'm not in full screen mode and not toggling with the F11 key. Firefox is up to date and I've tried restarting my laptop.

Yesterday I started having trouble logging into Gmail and associated apps (calendar, contacts, docs, sheets, shared folders, etc., as well as google.com) in Firefox. All other sites are loading with no problems. Google apps are working fine in Chrome. Still having problems today.

My office uses Google Workplace for everything so this is really messing me up, I've lost several hours of work trying to get things to load. The IT person told me that if Firefox is having problems I should use Chrome instead. I hate Chrome! I want to use Firefox, but I can't get my work done if it won't load Google apps.

After each fix things start working for a while but then everything Gmail-related freezes or crashes and I need to start all over again. Help!!!

When using built in search (google default) -- browser stops responding. Shows Firefox new tab background when loading the search. Issue resolves on Firefox close and re-open. Paste and go, creating new tabs also fail with same 'new tab background' displayed. Issue is intermittent but appears often, at least 4-5 times a day.

Tested same sample search with google chrome in same time period, no issue.

Issue appeared around the V99 update. Fix would be greatly appreciated - exiting and re-opening browser, dropping all tabs to reload is a serious usability issue.

Following site is immediately hijacked to a scam site asking for login apparently to access private info. It happens with Firefox (only) whenever security setups are set "not to track", "not to prompt for passwords", "not to prompt for credit cards" "no history" "reset of cookies at logout" etc.. then the site below: http://thaimassage-herborn.de/ is redirected to SCAM SITE: https://xb7.serverdomain.org/admin/index.php appearing as "Adminpanel" asking for Login etc..

At the same time following site is partially blocked on the news banner pictures, with a white sheet over them, whenever down scroll is hit. https://www.tgrthaber.com.tr/

Only by resetting firefox deals with the issues. But ofcourse with the reason, above security settings removed.

Virusscanner was not able to detect this hijacking or the reason behind.

Is this a firefox software issue? Is there a way to resolve this? Thank you already for any support or suggestions to resolve.
