whenever I do a Firefox update, there sometimes is a new extension included that I personally feel no use or need for..most of the time I can disable them w/programs like Ccleaner (see image), but some are persistent, and return the next time I open Firefox. Firefox always consumed a significant portion of my 8gigs of RAM, and my latest update to 144.02, it is approaching 15%. Any way I can stop this short of reverting back to previous version?

Went to bed last night & firefox was fine.

Opened it this morning & I don't see my bookmarks. The folders on the toolbar from Africa to Healthcare all say empty. Lottery thru web cameras have links in them that I can see. I I open another tab & go to google, then save that bookmark in the google folder it won't let me yet edit bookmark shows.

If I click edit bookmark it tells me that it's in the google folder already yet when I click on the folder, it says empty..

Ran a virus scan. It was clean. I tried restoring bookmarks from a previous day. Firefox was unable to do it.

What is going on? If the bookmarks are there, why can't I see them?

I've used this browser for years without a problem. Now all the sudden it's one problem after another. I'm ready to jump ship to a different browser.

I'm on version 144.0.2 (64-bit) using Windows 11 Pro.

Launched this morning and the interface is totally different. That's not the problem All my bookmarks are gone and I'm unable to restore them

Can I move back to the previous version of FF?

i am unable to see my installed themes and therefore can not use them. the only thing that i can see is "extensions" and "plugins". i looked online for a few hours and have found no solutions that work.

Recently, I noticed that the website isn’t working properly on the Mozilla Firefox browser. Some pages load slowly, and certain design elements like buttons and banners are not displaying correctly, even though the site works fine on Chrome and Edge.

I’ve already cleared cache, checked extensions, and verified that our SSL and JavaScript files are properly configured. Still, the issue continues on Firefox across multiple devices.

Kaspersky just found this hidden in the Firefox cache folder and the funny part is that I don't even use Firefox that much. I didn't visit any sites on this particular Firefox except Facebook. So, what sort of malware is this? A Trojan stealer or a dropper of some sort? I am running a Full Scan for now and I have uninstalled all the browsers incl Firefox, Chrome. Since this is a Trojan, can this be Dangerous? I scanned it in virustotal and 33 engines were saying malware.

I recently had an issue with my computer screen. The computer itself worked fine, but the screen needed to be replaced. Stupidly, I went to the Bestbuy I bought it from to use the warranty for repair. They sent it out, I just got it back, and it says they replaced my motherboard for whatever reason. My downloads and such back up automatically, but because I didn't expect them to do something so drastic, I neglected to create a backup key for my tabs and bookmarks. Obviously, they're all gone now. Is there any way I could possibly get any of this back, or am I screwed out of luck because those morons made a drastic decision that did not need to be made? I'll apologize ahead of time for my lack of technical know-how.

Speech output for Albanian on the website "loecsen.com" > language course "Albanian". Words cannot be heard under Windows 11. What can I do? I downloaded the Albanian language pack, but the voice isn't there. Is this a Firefox or Windows problem?

When I log into a website, say amazon.com, and it prompts me to add a passkey, my only option is local windows machine.

If I use Chrome, I can choose between Google PW manager and hardware key.

Once I save the passkey in Chrome, it works just fine in Firefox.

Is this expected behavior? I used FF for personal browsing and don't really want to move to Chrome.

Hi, new Firefox Win 11 user, new laptop, how do I enable main touchscreen gestures, swipe, pinch etc. All other apps, browsers work, so HW / drivers work. Can't find how on user forums, or in settings.

EVERY TIME Firefox updates or the computer shuts down, it loses my bookmarks. I check the box next to Bookmarks in Sync, and the second I hit "sync now" the checked box disappears and the bookmarks do not sync. Friggin annoying. I'm not a programmer so I'm hoping for a user-friendly solution. Thanks!

I have recently encountered reproducible failures when attempting to download files or save pages to local storage. The target directory is located on a mounted NTFS file system with the options umask=007, user=root, and group=disk. My Firefox browser is running under a non-root user account that is a member of the disk group. However, I consistently receive the error message: “XXX could not be saved because the source file could not be read.”

I would greatly appreciate anyone's assistance in resolving this issue.
