I downloaded Qwant browser some years ago out of curiosity then took this laptop offline. When I allowed this laptop back online, I noticed Qwant and disabled it, as I am accustomed to DuckDuckGo and no longer feeling curious, just want to get work done. Qwant is showing as disabled (under the Disabled heading, and greyed out).

However, when I use CTRL-N, the new browser window is Qwant, not Firefox, not DuckDuckGo.

I check that Firefox is my default browser and the laptop checks every boot-up that it is the default browser.

Can you help? I know there's a line of code somewhere but don't want to do more than I have -- endlessly search the settings, checking that there is nowhere that allows Qwant to load, let alone preferentially loads it.

Dear community, I have used firefox for years now and I had it synced with my email adressed. Today I wanted to login with a second profile (from my work) (I did this via about:profiles, adding a new profile) and when I logged back into my private email I had to change the password since I forgot. Suddenly ALL my user data was deleted, my passwords, my bookmarks, my history. It even shows in my profile that I just opend the account with that email adress now, today, even though I had my account for years. ALL my data is lost. PLEASE help! I am desperate. Thank you sooo much <3

Boxes in forms on websites don't show up clearly. I cannot tell if I've checked the box or not. Also columns in graphs don't line up. I'm guessing I set up something incorrectly in Firefox browser settings, but I have no idea what.

I would rather not change browsers just to use USPS.com. Can you direct me to correct settings so that I can use Firefox?

Hi Guys,

I am using an older OSx version which I am happily using Firefox 78.15 with no issues. Last week I easily attended meetings via Google Meets with no problems to date, until today.

All of a sudden it states that my browser doesnt support it. I have tried all workaround, uninstalled add-ons etc.

Was there a sudden change? This will affact my day to day work if meets no longer works.

Any information please help

Was getting some crash reports....now have a black bar on top of new tabs...it finally scrolls when you are halfway down the page. any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what happened because it never broke sites like this before. Sometimes it makes a site impossible to read. I haven't done anything to the browser and this just started happening.

I have tried many times to import my passwords from Chrome and from my desktop Firefox, using synchronising, to this laptop, and it has continually failed to happen. My Tabs and Bookmarks, for example, have all been successfully imported.

I want to make Firefox my default browser but cannot do this without successfully importing my passwords.

Please let me know what I should do next.

Are you able to take control of my laptop remotely and resolve the problem? If so, please let me know the times and days when you can do this, so that I can make an appointment, stating which time zone you are in as I am in England.

Archived 2020 query at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1360922#answer-1465978 asked for time-stamped history list. Instructions in the response say after CMD(on Mac)/Shift/H you will see names of columns above the list. This does not appear - possibly deleted since the answer.

I'm trying to argue with a bank that I made a payment in business hours, and a time stamp on my history record would bolster my argument.

Is the list of columns mentioned available somehow? Can a date/time stamp be added to every history record? (Date is known, but not shown as a date stamp.) Is this info in there, but hidden, and available somehow?

Recently Youtube refuses to play any videos for me, saying adblockers are against their rules. I have uninstalled Adblock, and reset firefox totally. Youtube is still blocking me. It works fine on Chrome. Do I have to switch to Chrome permanently?

I changed my PC. Then i installed Firefox my new PC and login Firefox account. But my old PC's Firefox account all data will de deleted history passwords etc. It was looks like a new account. How can i restore my old data. My old PC was already formatted.

Why is the print on my website (angeleducators.com) so tiny in Firefox? It looks much better on Chrome and Safari.

Long time user (love it) but the browser is consuming a lot of memory. With the same windows open in Chrome, Firefox is consuming 5 times the amount making the system slower glitchy.

This has been an issue for awhile and I checked all the posted solutions. Either the software is consuming an that is normal or something is running in the background. Firefox is at 1831.5 MB as I type this.

Can I uninstall then reinstall? or is everything going to return?

When I select "bookmark this tab", in the Firefox browser, I used to get the window allowing you to choose where to put the new bookmark. This 'bookmark location' window no longer appears so you don't know where the bookmark has gone. Prior to now, this feature has always worked fine.

I quit Firebox and reopened it but the problem remains.

I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 (64 bit) (the most current vers.) on a Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.3. I switched from Chrome to Firefox on this new Mac.

Can anyone help me figure out how I can get fire fox to work again..I installed acrobat last night and it did crazy things to my computer, and fire fox will not work anymore

In error, I answered 'yes' to save an entry on a site to be my new login ID & pswd for that site. I want to get back to my original login ID & pswd. They told me I need to call my Browser FireFox to "get rid of my pre-saved login id & pswd". How do I do that? jerrybrown411@gmail.com
