locking as a duplicate of https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1063676

I recently downloaded a program called evernote. Since then, I am getting the popup notice that evernote.exe is safe each time I start firefox. I appreciated getting it the first time to be sure it was safe (it seems to be a Norton warning), but now I get it every time. Is there a way to turn that off?

Thanks! TN

I was "trying" Firefox Hello but when I tried to use it for the first time, to connect with anyone I'd know, I was only given the choice of using Gmail or Yahoo as sources for email links. I primarily use Outlook and any contact I'd care to connect with would be located there. When the "Choose an application" window came up showing only Gmail and Yahoo, I clicked to find another app to use and have no idea how to find/connect with my Outlook app for email links. The Firefox app shows no way to access any other kind of email and I think that's damned short-sighted and arrogant of Firefox to not allow for customers/users of their app to access email links by other means!

I am on a laptop with Windows 7 running 35.0.1. I am not sure what other info you may need. This has been happening for a long time now, but Youtube is now forcing HTML5 video playback, so it is now a bigger issue. This is only for firefox and only on HTML5 video.

The video has severe vertical tear, and actually appears to jump back a few hundred milliseconds every half second or so. What can I do to fix this?

EDIT: Looks like updating my graphic drivers did the trick. Easy fix.

Doesn't show any plugins. It's just an informational page (even after firefox profile reset)

When I go to "Tools" / "Plug-Ins" and click on "Check To see If Plugins Are Up To Date" it goes to Mozilla Check Your Plugin Page, but fails to show plugins or checked plugins update status. I am using OS X 10.10.2 / Firefox 35.0.1 / February-7-2015

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/?utm_source=firefox-browser&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_campaign=plugincheck-update

Tried, re-installing over original, clearing cookies, clearing cache and starting in Safe Mode to no avail. Mozilla has gone of track once again. Situations like this are among the causes for Firefox rapidly losing Browser share. Another ridiculous oversight and there's never any support for when things do go awry. No professional concern, with a competent cause and cure. none.

Ironically the "check to see if your plugins are up to date" web site loads the plugins and their update status in Safari and Chromium. But still does not show the plugins or their update status when loaded in Firefox 35.0.1 on OS X 10.10.2.

Need info and a fix, please... Thanks! Whitebuck

Still wondering why, you're losing users
