I am running Firefox on Windows 11 and I'm encountering a strange issue regarding the UI updates.

The Issue: My Firefox browser updates automatically to the latest version. However, my Default Profile is visually stuck on the old UI design. It does not reflect the recent interface changes associated with the update.

The Troubleshooting Context:

• I have verified that the browser itself is technically updated (via Help > About Firefox).
• The strange part: I have other Firefox profiles on this same machine. When I launch those profiles, they correctly display the new, updated UI.
• This issue is isolated strictly to my main/default profile.

Has anyone experienced this mismatch where the version number is correct, but the UI fails to refresh on a specific profile? Is there a specific fix for this?

Unfortunately, Fusion does not work properly with the new Firefox. Firefox cannot be controlled using shortcuts such as H-headlines, E-input fields, B-button, insert+F7-link list, and insert+F6-heading list. Also, on most pages, you can't use Jaws controls like word-by-word reading or paragraph-by-paragraph reading, which is really limiting, especially with Outlook online. In Firefox 146, Jaws usually only recognizes the whole email as an image, and reading aloud only works if you use the mouse and navigate line by line, which is really hard if you're visually impaired. Since I don't want to give up Firefox permanently and am forced to switch to another browser, I am trying to get feedback to see if a solution can be found in the future so that I can continue using Firefox. If I notice any more errors, I will contact support again for assistance.

When I open firefox it loads 14 different tabs, if you view it from the task manager in Windows. It only shows one tab, when homepage is opened initially but clearly it's loading more in the background.

Hi, Since three or four months, whenever I log into Outlook live, either on Mac or Windows PC, I get a security warning saying that the information will not be secure (Please see attachment.) When I log into the same account, from Edge for example, I do not get the warning popup. I really enjoy using Firefox and would love to continue but this case is worrying me a bit. Any idea to help? I've been using Firefox since forever but over the last couple of months, the auto translate subtitles (to English) hasn't been working when watching Youtube videos. There's a thread on the Youtube support site with nearly 40,000 posts of people with the same issue and tonight I was trying to watch a video where the hosts talk in Italian, so I use auto translate to English subtitles but no subtitles appear. It will show Italian language subtitles.

I've gone back through this Youtube channel's history trying videos I've previously watched from months/years ago when auto translate used to work but even they're not working now.

I decided to try the video in Edge browser and to my surprise the auto translate to English worked there. They also work in Chrome.

So what could be causing this issue on Firefox, which started about August time?

This is quite bizarre as I assumed all the processing/translation was done by Google/Youtube so in what way can Firefox be part of this issue?

To be clear, subtitles in the (foreign) language the people are speaking, works. Subtitles translated from that language to English (or other languages) has stopped working. Subtitles translated from that language to English IS working on Edge and Chrome browser.

All searches get blocked by reCaptcha, quoted as being caused by 'unusual activity on the network' After going through the "I'm Not A Robot" process the search is o.k., but this happens for every search. The problem does not exist if I switch to Chrome. How do I fix this?

I seem to have lost all of my bookmarks & i have tried to Import and backup / restore in manage bookmarks tab but all i get is a message "unable to process the backup file" plus when i tried to bookmark a web page by clicking on the Star bookmark icon nothing happens now for some reason. Was there an update as this only just started around 2 days ago

I've disabled extensions, changed settings, and reinstalled multiple times, but Firefox won't quit stuttering constantly. Other browsers work fine on my computer, and Firefox doesn't seem to be using much memory.

I have a pretty through bookmark system. I use folders a lot, and the little window that pops up presents too much confusion if there are a lot of folder already open from previous bookmarking. Is there a method to have bookmark manager open by default upon selecting the bookmark star and allow me to bookmark the current page? Is there a default setting that will open the small bookmark window with all folders closed? If not how do I go about making a suggestion to Mozilla to include this in their next upgrade.

I have autofill turned on, and it works (almost). The address fields are completed, but left in yellow highlight, and when I try to submit the form, it isn't accepted. I have to manually enter and then delete a character for they yellow highlight to clear - and then the form submission works. It's happening with more sites now.

I'm trying to access a dropdown menu on trafficjunky.com but the menu is not functioning correctly and will not load. When I select the dropdown, it opens a small blank white box that should fill with options, and I should have the ability to free type as well so I can search for a location. This does not happen, the only thing that happens is what you can see in the picture and free type is not functioning.

I have cleared cookies and cache numerous times, updated my browser, deactivated extensions, turned off performance settings, and have tried both troubleshooting and incognito modes as well. I am not running ad blockers or themes on Firefox.

Any advice you can provide is appreciated!

Good afternoon. When I try to send an email link from the Firefox the default comes up with the "New Outlook." I would like to use Outlook Classic as I have in the past. In your default there is now way to choose Outlook Classic only the "New Outlook." Is there a work-around to this. Thank you!
