I can no longer switch search engines via the pull down list available to the right of the search bar. I used to be able to switch from a list I set up in settings. I now have to go into settings to change my search engine. This is annoying. Also, recently, when I make my first search with Google Search I have to enter the search criteria twice. The first time the system just sits there with no response. The second time it responds normally. This is the same on both of my Dell Lattitude laptops running the latest version of Windows 11. I run NORD VPN and Trend Micro internet security

I will visit a site, say engadget. Then I can open another tab, and I expect when I type en or eng or engadge that it'll autocomplete to engadget, but it won't. For some sites, it works, for others, it doesn't. I'm a developer and am used to figuring stuff out, but no matter what settings I change it doesn't consistently work. I use Firefox on all my devices but on this one machine, it doesn't work. I've triple checked the settings. I am this close to switching browsers, it's so frustrating. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
