i asked a few days ago i am on Firefox have been for years and do not wan to have to change. I am trying to video call with my family from messenger and when i try it say it can not on Firefox. Why ? i d love to but why can t firefox do video calling from messenger is it Firefox or is it Facebook?you will force me to go to chrome or edge which i would rather not do please let me kno why this is thank you

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

You log in and it says feature unavailable. They suggest using Google. I hate Google. It is just one giant ad machine. Their email is barely tolerable. Hello. I have a problem with the chat.deepseek.com website - every time I launch the browser, the language settings are reset from the system (or Russian) language set manually to English. Interestingly, this problem only occurs in Firefox, while other browsers work as expected. Additionally, the test profile created again also works properly. What I have done: 1. Reinstalled the browser, but it did not help 2. Deleted the folders responsible for Local Storage in the profile folder - didn't help 3. Cleared the cookies - helped until the first restart, then it was the same. History is enabled, and cookies are not cleared when the browser is closed. How can I solve this issue without deleting my profile? I don't want to lose my bookmarks, passwords, and website settings. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

the website gem.cbc.ca no longer allows me to play a video in Firefox since Monday this week, but works as usual on Chrome. I have the same add-ons on both browsers Adblock+ and NoScript. Tried in a private window too and all the suggested Firefox settings, no go.

Also I was able to use primewire.mov to watch videos up until yesterday, but none of them will play for me today. Guess I should try Chrome for them too. I use a private window for those sites.

Trying to access search Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply gives errors. Works with Chrome. Started about 2 weeks ago or so. I use Starlink, no VPN, tried disabling Ad Blocker, Clearing cache for Lowes, no Add ons, but still doesn't help.

'bold text YouTube is "acting insane, sound plays/picture is frozen. Can't pause it. Also can't start it! Ads play on without option to skip. I got some notice that YT was changing something, I think it is broken. I managed to get a video to play on MS Edge, but I normally do not use that. I cleared cache and ALL of that, rebooted computer, etc. connection is good. Searches are fine on firefox, Other sites are fine on firefox. . IT IS YOUTUBE! It is SO bad that now with my mouse, the arrow and hand are NOT showing up on the actual screen where video plays. Right now on here it is fine. but on youtube? no.

Hi Can't enter text in a site message box.

Message box appears okay after a link render and isn't a pop-up. Other routine Firefox fields work fine, any site. Works fine with my Chrome install. No cursor in the box but all other box elements interact with the mouse, like format buttons, help, resize, colour palette, etc.

Never seen this behaviour before and I have no ideas. Just moved to 64bit v150.0 on Win10. Thanks Dale

I’ve been noticing an issue with YTS-type sites on Firefox. The site either loads partially, the player doesn’t start, or it keeps buffering without playing anything.

What’s strange is that the exact same site works perfectly fine on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. Videos load instantly there, but on Firefox it either breaks or takes forever.

Things I’ve already tried: – Cleared cache and cookies – Disabled all extensions – Tried in private window – Checked network (no issues)

It feels like something related to Firefox compatibility with the video player or scripts used on these sites.

I also tested another version here which seems to work better on Firefox:

Not sure what’s different (maybe a different player or encoding), but it loads without issues for me.

I recently installed an rtx 3060 12gb on my old system (Win10, ga-h77-ds3h gen3 mobo + xeon ivy bridge cpu). I installed latest Nvidea Studio drivers. Everything seems fine apart from Firefox, which showed visible artifacts/flickering lines on the screen. I disabled hw acceleration in Firefox settings and now instead of the lines I just see micro dots which change position frequently. As recommended by AI i changed some other settings in about:config but the tiny dots are still there. Starting Firefox in safe mode they are still there. On MS Edge its fine, there are no dots/artifacts.

Is there something else that might fix this or there is nothing that can be done, its just how the rendering engine works on older systems and rtx 30s cards?

After updating to version 149.0, videos on hdrezka.tv do not start after clicking the play button.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open any video on hdrezka.tv.
2. Click the Play button.

Actual result: The player stays inactive or shows a loading icon.

Expected result: The video should start playing.

Note: I have tested this on version 148.2 and it works perfectly. Upgrading to 149.0 or 150.0 Beta breaks it. Reinstalling 148.2 fixes the issue.

When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

I cannot login into Kick.com, is it because am on Windows 10? If i use any other browser, it works fine no problems!! (the error it gives me is attached)
