i clicke on Facebook i clicked on any website or app and it keeps satying before it loads that firefox is running why is it doing this so now i can not use firefox

i keep getting firefox is runing and have to close it all the time how do i stop it from saying that

says  firefox idss running  everytime i need t stop it please

recently i've created a html backup file in zen browser. and when i choose it in the settings menu on another device it says "This file isn’t working. Try picking a different file."

I have two files with the given content:

one.pdf .. the book jane eyre two.pdf .. the book adam bede

I go to https://duck.ai/chat and press the paperclip icon to upload a file. I upload one.pdf. I ask the AI to analyse it. It says it's jane eyre. This is correct.

On my disk, I rename one.pdf to one.old.pdf and rename two.pdf to one.pdf. I then ask the AI to reanalyse the file. It says its adam bede, which one.pdf now is, so that's correct too.

Under my understanding, if I upload something using HTML, it's uploaded. What I'm seeing above is the AI dynamically reaching into my hard drive and reading the current file. Note: I never uploaded a file containing adam bede, nor did I consent for it to be read by the AI.

What is going on there?

I get pages on my cell phone which also uses Firefox and saying my phone has been hacked and has "Google Security" on top. this is just one example. I am trying to see if Firefox has a screen for this.

i want to kepp my original profile as the new ones ccreate more problems as i lose everything i have and have to start from new can i keep my old profile as i am not liking the new irefox perhaps others do i do not please

do you want to lose your original people cause that is what you have done you have lost me i am able to try and keep tthe original profile but for how long with the new foi irefox i have lost all my password my extentions book marks and al ihave put there it is horrible and i am sure i am not he only one complaining about it I HATE THE NEWEST VERSION

I have a new xfinity account with XB7 gateway. All of my devices are connected and operational. Attempts to use Fire Fox and most other browsers to access the internet are blocked with the following notification: "Your connection isn't private. Attackers may be trying to steal your information from www.firefox.com (for example passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID. This same message shows up with attempts to open browsers from bing, google, etc. However Wikipedia opens with no error notification.

Quick Dial has been working fine but as of yesterday I went to delete a link I no longer use and it doesn't work. Right click on the link but no way to delete or edit links. Only just happened. Still on Windows 10, about to rebuild with new graphics card and updating to Windows 11 (and Winhance).

Feedback on Firefox Widgets – Missing Indian Standard Time (IST)

I noticed that the World Clock widget includes Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) but does not provide an option for Indian Standard Time (IST). This is surprising given that India has one of the world's largest internet user bases and a significantly larger population than many countries currently represented.

India operates on a unique UTC+5:30 time zone used by over 1.4 billion people, making it one of the most widely used time zones globally. The absence of IST while neighboring time zones are available feels like a major oversight and reduces the usefulness of the widget for Indian users and anyone who regularly works with Indian colleagues, clients, friends, or family.

Please consider adding Indian Standard Time (IST) to the World Clock widget as a standard option. Its inclusion would greatly improve the widget's global coverage and usability.

I use the Add Image button to tick off things on a list (add image of a tick) - for my own personal use, not suitable for webviewing. Halfway through the task these Alt Text warnings just obliterate my view of the document; my attempts to not have to print it, or not have to use Adobe, are thwarted.

I'm looking at a page of grey blocks that contain a triangle which in turn contains an exclamation mark, and I can no longer see the actual document behind them.

Just updated Firefox desktop (Win 10 with ESU) to 140.10.0ESR and now every site I try to access gives

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Sites were all working fine literally right before. No other changes at all. Have restarted a few times. Have disabled antivirus and adblocker extensions. Same problem including at google.com and even firefox. Note on the About Mozilla Firefox window says " Failed to check for updates". Also cannot even use the links there to go to What's new or Firefox help etc. (Gives Secure Connection Failed error). No proxy server. Have tried turning anti virus completely off. Just a combined modem/router -- basically vanilla.

Firefox is my primary browser so this is extremely disruptive. I am using Edge to access sites and post this.. though curiously enough I noticed it gave some error when checking for updates. Do not want to do anything there or will lose complete access.

Any suggestions .. or how to go back to a previous version, if necessary. Need a workable connection to file taxes next week so this is important. Thank you.

I purchased VPN but for some reason it refuses to work on my PC. I have reloaded it several times but to no avail. I have given up and now want my subscription returned.......but how!!! I cannot find a way to do this, I know it's not made simple for obvious commercial reasons, but I will not give up until the money that I paid for something that doesn't work is back in my account. Can anyone help?
