While doing general computer cleanup I mistakenly deleted my most recent Firefox 'profile' from my laptop; this was about 2 and a half years old and contained a lot of data. Predictably, my Firefox data/bookmarks/etc on my laptop appears to be wiped completely. This shouldn't be a problem, as my iPhone has been synced to my laptop and has all the missing data saved, but it has been one hour of the Sync loading without any input from me and no sign of things being restored. I cannot find any of the listed options to sync manually. Am I just being impatient or am I doing something wrong? Additionally, I cannot access/make new bookmarks full stop.

I’ve been having problems with Firefox on my Dell laptop, running Windows 11. (Firefox has been my default browser for years). For the last few weeks, when I opened Firefox, the history sidebar would always appear by default, and I would have to close it manually. Of course, having the sidebar open didn’t seem to affect the functionality of the program, I just found it a tiny bit bothersome.

Recently I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox to see if that would solve the glitch, but it did not. Even worse, I’ve lost ALL my bookmarks and YEARS of browsing history.

Is there ANY way to retrieve them?

In retrospect, the glitch itself was/is just a minor annoyance, but losing my bookmarks and history is devastating‼️ Thanks

There is a session with 15 important tabs. Previously, all 15 tabs were restored when closing and then opening.

But now, when closing and opening, the following happens: 1) The first time you click on Mozilla startup, nothing opens.Clicking again opens the home page. And everything. 2)When you click on launch, the home page opens. And everything.

In both cases, pressing Ctrl+Shift+t restores the previous session with 15 tabs.

The error appeared unexpectedly. There were no critical sorties.Mozilla's version is the latest.Tell me how to fix it.

We apparently lost power sometime during the night. When I turned on the monitor and opened FF, I got the error message that it had crashed. As my subject line says, I lost all my tabs, the pinned ones (probably about 10) as well as the open ones (probably between 10 and 15). I also lost all my history. I can't use the 'Restore Previous Session' because it doesn't give me that option.

I've restarted Firefox and also rebooted my computer...still nothing happens. It's up to date, version 133.0. But I have no history beyond this morning. Is there any way I can recover those tabs or history?

And in my FF Settings, there's a link at the top that says "Your browser is being managed by your organization". I don't have or belong to an organization. When I click on the link it takes me to another page that says it's "Active" and there's a huge list of "Documentation" that apparently involves a lot of code. Can you please explain what all that means? Thanks so much for any help!
