I often need to duplicate a tab but I cannot do so quickly in Firefox. I can copy the link, open a new tab and paste the link, but a simple shortcut in the 'right click' menu of the tabs would be nice. IE8 has this feature (Ctrl+K).

I would like to completely disable the "this connection is untrusted dialog." I am an administrator and deal with many intranet sites. It is not cost effective to set an exception for each site. Corporate standards require us to use either IE, or Firefox, and I would prefer not to have to use IE.

To be clear: I am not looking for a solution that lessens the amount of overall clicks, like in browser.ssl override behavor in "about:config" nor am I looking for an Add-on (like "remember certificate exception"). I am looking for a way to remove the "this connection is untrusted" dialog completely.

I have a site that consistently gives "The connection was reset" every three or four clicks. Refreshing brings the page up fine. Server logs show no errors whatsoever, the hits all show 200 responses with no errors logged by back-end code. This only happens in Firefox. IE, Safari, Opera all work fine.

I've tried clearing cache, cookies, etc.

I've tried reinstalling Firefox.

I've tried reinstalling an older version of Firefox in case it's a recent bug.

I've tried disabling DNS prefetching.

I've tried just about every other remedy I can find on the internet.

Is there any kind of HTML or JavaScript that would cause the browser to throw a fit for no apparent reason?

Thanks.

A few minutes ago I got a warning from Windows Defender saying that I had a virus. I had removed the virus and when I went on Mozilla FireFox and it said that it couldn't connect because it was either the proxy settings or my Internet Connection. I had just reset my proxy settings on Internet Explorer and it was restored on Mozilla Firefox. I just want to know if there is any way to fix these on Mozilla Firefox. This had happened before because I remember resetting my settings.

I have two main printers to use at home and whenever I print a web page, Firefox automatically prints using the non-default printer. If I select the default printer from the drop down list, it works fine. I shouldn't have to select the default printer every time I want to print.

It does it on any site I visit. I have tried clearing my cashe and cookies. It has gotten to the point I can't do anything becasue it stops responding. This started when I had version 3.5 and has continued since I upgraded to the newst version. It is only Firefox and not my other browsers so I don't see how it is my computer. Anything I can do to make it stop and work properly?

The reason mine was doing it was becasue of the add-ons. I deleted them all and only reinstalled AdBlock Plus, no script, request policy, and the video downloader. I have not had a problem since. It was either Mr Tech Toolkit or the personas. :(

I had my favorite radio station bookmarked and could listen to it live while working on my laptop. For some reason, after updates to Firefox, the listen live component of the bookmark does not work anymore and I cant hear anything. I tried typing in the address manually instead of going through the book mark but that doesn't work either. I can access the website of the radio station but when I click on the "listen live" button it appears to load and does not "buffer" or present the play/pause buttons. Cant hear anything either. If I use Explorer instead, everything works fine.

I've been hopelessly wandering the world-wide web trying to figure out how to really, actually disable cache in Firefox. I've found a lot of solutions that don't actually, really do anything at all. Most answers explain how to delete the cache, but I need to disable it, not delete it, for all types of content, whether images, HTML, CSS, name it. All of it, always, every time, without exceptions.

The particular problem I have now is that my CSS (hosted on localhost:82) always gets remembered for some reason. I need to reload about 3-5 times before Firefox actually bothers to read the CSS file again. I need it read every single time. I've got plenty of bandwidth running to 127.0.0.1 and I do not need cache; much rather I need to know what the changes I make to my website look like.

Here are my about:config items that I've configured already:

browser.cache.disk.enable = FALSE

browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl = FALSE

browser.cache.memory.enable = FALSE

browser.cache.offline.capacity = 0

browser.cache.offline.enable = FALSE

media.cache_size = 0

network.http.use-cache = FALSE

I really don't know how to be clearer; I actually, really want the cache off. Firefox doesn't seem to understand this.

Any help deeply appreciated.
