How do I keep firefox v115 ESR or v128 ESR from mixing the languages for the add-on descriptions in the Manage Your Extensions UI?

I've always chosen the Settings option to notify me about updates but let me choose to install them. Those notifications still give me the option to "dismiss," but these… (lire la suite)
I've always chosen the Settings option to notify me about updates but let me choose to install them. Those notifications still give me the option to "dismiss," but these days ignore that and proceed to install the updates anyway. Worse, I can't even choose to restart at my convenience: The browser basically stops working until I do that, displaying the message I've attached here. (There used to be a Settings option to "Use a background service to install updates" that could be unchecked, but it's not there any more.)
This is not only obnoxious but a practical inconvenience because every time it happens I have to repopulate my Private Browsing sites. I'd hoped that there would be a fix in the latest update (that just forced itself on me) - 132.0 - but no.
Anyone else experiencing this?
