因工作需求，分别在五台电脑登录我的火狐账号（国内版账号），进行书签操作共享。 现在不知道因为什么问题导致，是火狐的历史书签没法多端同步（自动/手动均无效）， 其中尝试设置了 排障模式/about：config部分参数： ①contextParam--fx_desktop_v3； ②identity.fxaccounts.oauth.enabled设置为false，仍然未解决问题。 有解决方法方便直接联系3003378498@qq.com，求求大神帮帮忙，谢谢

使用系统：win11。我在之前的Firefox上已经登录了账号并开启了自动同步，前天我重新安装了系统并下载登录了账号。登录了账号之后并没有重新同步我的书签，我手动同步多次没有结果，并等待了一段时间自动同步，以及观察是否会同步书签到本地，结果仍没有。于是我尝试用我手机的Firefox登录电脑的Firefox，结果才同步了我手机的书签信息，但我手机的书签信息已经过时。而且电脑的Firefox显示可以和手机的Firefox互相同步信息及标签页等，但我观察后发现并没有完全同步，我电脑/手机的信息及标签页都是一天两天之前的，手动同步后仍然没有看到有更新。我希望同步回服务器的书签信息！

The 2-year-old support page "View synced tabs from other devices" gives 2 methods for syncing all your tabs from one Windoze FF to another. Neither one does anything at all for me now. The "right-click on the device in the sidebar" sounded SO promising, but it does not cause anything at all to happen. And checking the "sync tabs" box does indeed make them all show up in the sidebar list, but does not open anything. So besides clicking on each of the hundreds of tabs listed, how can I do this, or is it just another FF functionality lost to time?

Sync works fine between my Android phone and my devices, in that I can see open tabs on the phone from both devices. But what does not work is sync between the laptop and desktop. They are both listed as connected devices along with the phone, both are signed in, both synch with the phone but neither will sync with the other, so I can't see the open tabs on either device. Is this an issue or is it by design? Thank you.

I hope you can assist me with an urgent issue. After reinstalling Windows on my PC, I lost access to my Firefox Sync data, which includes years of bookmarks, saved passwords, and browsing history.

Before formatting, I had been using Firefox Sync with my Firefox Account (sometimes signed in via Google). However, after reinstalling Windows and logging back into Firefox Sync, my data no longer appears. At one point, I saw my account showing activity from just before formatting, but now that is gone as well.

I am worried that my synced data might have been overwritten or lost during this process. Unfortunately, I do not have a local backup of my Firefox profile.

Could you please help me: - Verify if my Firefox Sync data is still stored on your servers. - Assist with recovering my synced data or advise on next steps I can take. - Provide any guidance on preventing data loss in the future.

I just bought a new PC, part by part, and used my storage devices from my old PC. I formatted the windows drive and am on a fresh installation of windows 11. I tried to log in to my mozilla account, but couldn't remember my password so I used the "Forgot password" function. When I logged in, no bookmarks or history was saved. Is it possible to restore my synced data?

I signed into my firefox account on my wife's computer and now ALL of her bookmarks, passwords are mixed in with my data. I've signed out of both accounts on that computer. I've signed out and relogged in on my computer. This is not a temporary issue. All of her data is somehow in my account. This seems like a MAJOR security flaw of the software. Were both using Windows 11 computers.

Dear Firefox China Team, After reinstalling Windows on 2025-07-22 and installing I signed in with the same Firefox Account (this one). Unfortunately: • No bookmarks, passwords, history or extensions were restored. • I believe “Sync” was enabled before the reinstall with all data types selected. • The UI only shows “Syncing…” but no data appears. Please help:

   Check whether any sync data exists for this UID.
   • If yes, explain why it is not downloading and provide recovery steps.
   • If no, supply official evidence (e.g., server-side log) showing zero data.
   If my data (bookmarks, logins.json/key4.db, form history, add-ons) is on your servers, kindly export it to me in an encrypted archive or provide a temporary secure download link.
   Advise how to prevent this “appears-to-be-synced but actually not” scenario in the future (mandatory manual backup, verification methods, etc.).

Troubleshooting already done: – Confirmed same account, same email. – Reset services.sync.* prefs to default. – Manually triggered sync; about:sync-log shows no error codes. – Created a fresh profile; still empty. Please reply at your earliest convenience so I can continue using Firefox with confidence. I am ready to provide Sync ID or any logs you need. Best regards,

I installed firefox on other PC and I logged in with my account. Despite having synchronization for passwords, bookmarks, etc., I can't sync my data on my new PC. Why is that?

I got my mother a new PC. I'm trying to sync Firefox data from the old PC to the new PC. My mother does not have a smart phone.

This isn't syncing PC to smart phone. It's syncing PC to PC. I thought just entering the username/email address and password on the new PC would do it, but it isn't.

[There are still a lot of people who don't have a smart phone and will never understand one.] [If I use my smart phone, it will sync from my data, not my mother's]

15/12/2025 I need to sync my firefox data from my old windows 10 laptop to my new windows 11 laptop. Do I have to download the firefox app on to my new laptop before I can sync it, and will I need a new password if I have to download the app. Im using my old password on my old laptop to write this. On the new laptop, I tried to sign into firefox on the internet but, it said my password is wrong. I'm an oldie and have no idear what to do. Iwill be very grateful for any help. Many Thanks,

I made sure to sign in and hit sync on my browser prior to moving over to my new computer. I've logged in on my new computer and manually hit the sync button but my passwords and bookmarks are not populating.

Instead of syncing my current settings, sync just overwrote them with an old, outdated copy from another device, completely ruining my addons, bookmarks and various other settings. I managed to restore the bookmarks, but is there really no proper way to undo this or prevent such thing from happening in the first place? Is there no way to control if I want to sync my setting TO the server or FROM the server? How such a vital decision is even made then and why wouldn't there be a way for a user to control that? This is so disappointing :(

Dear Mozilla Team, I installed my Fieefox on Linux Mont on an old Laptop I use as my daily machine. Firefox however after login does not sync to my previous installs. I have installed and removed firefox on my mobile (iphone), with no change. Also re-installing and singning out, signing back in did not help. What can I do to get all my bookmarks and PWs back?

I follow the instructions on how to Sync and save data on my mobile, but there is no option in the options as described. I am logged in on both the phone and desktop.

I have switched from chrome to firefox on my windows 11 laptop. I want to do the same on my pc but after signing into the Mozilla account, the bookmarks do not come in. History, and other things seem to work fine. I tried manually synchronizing in the settings over and over again but nothing works.

I have no idea what to do other than going back to chrome where things just worked and I didn't have to spend hours looking at forums for solutions that do not work...

Hi Yesterday I replaced my computer. I'm trying to sync my account data, but unfortunately, nothing is syncing. I have all the data selected for syncing (bookmarks, history, etc.), and the logs in about:sync-log are empty. It looks like the data from your server has been cleared. Firefox is freshly installed. Please help.

Firefox won't sync anything since a while back, maybe since two months back, I am unable to force sync. Clearing cashe, uninstalling the app, relogging both phone and pc, neither of these syncs bookmarks across the devices. I am able to send tabs in-between the devices. Biggest issue is I can't save bookmarks on one device and expect them to be available on my other device Nokia 7.2

Is there some way to open all tabs on a synced device. I have the list of tabs showing in the sidebar. However, the instruction: "While viewing synced tabs in Sidebar, right clicking on device name allows you to open all tabs from a device at once." does not work. Right clicking does nothing. Version 147.0.2 (64-bit) in Windows 11. Thank you.
