FF sometimes doesn't open links from email, and sometimes other links in a site. Frustrating when I need that download but can't get it. I disabled all my extensions, closed and reopened FF, but it didn't change anything. Had this problem with Brave too and it got so bad it was inopperable and had to delete it. I'm using Google for DNS.

When I find a web site I want to share, I go to file on my i-mac desk top and it opens an e-mail but always sends from my comcast e-mail address. How do I change that so they all go from my aol address? [edited[ @aol.com

hi everyone, first of all, happy new year.

while browsing reddit, i keep seeing these strange underlined empty links on random words/names. for example this comment here: https://www.reddit.com/r/moviecritic/comments/1hpse0f/comment/m4jxdwq/ shows the name of actress underlined.

i disabled all my extensions and the problem persisted. i checked using chrome and the problem didn't exist.

on inspect element i found something called faceplate-tracker though.

any clue what is this? and how to deal with it?

Installed Firefox on my laptop. Already running on my desktop.

Whenever I try to open a link, I get: Get an app to open this 'microsoft-edge' link

Your PC doesn't have an app that can open this link. Try looking for a compatible app in the Microsoft Store.

Is this Microsofts way of saying "Use Edge?" Can I change settings to make it work?

I have a Mac desktop running Seqouia 15.1.1, and I'm using Firefox, primarily.

Inside LinkedIn, the "see more" link is missing in people's profile sections. I can;t expand any of these sections to read them in full.

They are present in Chrome. They are present on my iPhone.

I've reset everything I can think of but nothing impacts it. Also, this is a fairly new problem. So, something updated that caused this but Idk what.

The attached images give examples.

1st image (FF): Where the "..." is, a "see more" text link should also appear. 2nd image (CH): "See more" is present.

I am looking for a solution that will allow links to open in the same tab rather than tab, tab, tab, tab, tab, tab, tab. I am also having issue with sign ins opening a new blank tab and not having the ability to sign in at all. I've been using Firefox since I quit Netscape. And yes, I tried many epic fails that were disguised as solutions that don't work. I'm seriously about to give up on this browser if I can't get what I had after a SSD drive fail that forced me to reinstall from the ground up.

there is now a bug since last update which prevents me from copying material and pasting it into my gmail account on my macbook. This is not a problem on my android phone. Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?

As per the topic title. I would like pages to always automatically translate from english to my chosen language. However, when I select the option in the context menu, then revisit the setting, the check box remains unchecked. This remains the case on multiple tested operating systems, Arch Linux and Linux Mint. Thank you in advance.

The shortcut icons on my home screen used to direct me to frequently used websites. Now shortcuts are showing up linking to to recently used websites, pushing off or even removing the ones recently used. I can't find anything in settings to remedy the problem so I have disabled home screen shortcuts. Do you have a patch to correct the problem?

Hello, This is definitely an annoying bug because each time I right click a specific tab then "Open a new tab on the right", there's no focus on the url bar. And when I want to type something I have to bring the mouse inside the url text zone and click before typing.

It would really be a nice QoL to have.

If I try to type the URL for Wikipedia in the URL field, Firefox suggests Wikihow. How can I change it so that it assumes I want Wikipedia?

When I'm using the adress bar, I would like to see suggested bookmarks before suggested browsing history. I don't want to turn off the suggestions from browsing history, but in 99% the suggested bookmark is what I'm looking for. It would save me a few seconds every time I'm using the adress bar if the websites, which I wilfully decided to add to my bookmarks, are suggested before any website I only visited once. Hallo, ich habe im Zusammenhang mit dem Übergang zu Windows 11 das Office 2024 Pro installiert. Dabei haben sich zwei Probleme gezeigt: 1. Für das versenden von Links mit Emails habe ich in den Einstellungen "Allgemein" unter "Anwendungen.mailto" das Programm OUTLOOK (classic) in beiden von mir genutzten lokalen Konten zugewiesen. In einem der beiden Konten wird im Gegensatz zu dieser Einstellung immer zu der Aufforderung zur Verbindungsaufnahme mit einem Microsoft-Konto verlangt. Zu einer Anzeige des Outlook-Sendefensters kommt es nicht. Welche Ursache kann es dafür geben und wie kann ich das Problem beheben? 2. Wie in dem beigefügten Bild dargestellt, erscheint bei der Nutzung der mailto-Funktion in beiden lokalen Konten diese Fehlermeldung, die bei normaler Nutzung von Outlook nicht auftritt. Meine Internet-Recherche zu dieser Fehlermeldung hat leider nichts greifbares ergeben. Könnt Ihr mir weiterhelfen? MfG, R. Ziegler.

Hi, I have noticed that recently the URL link in the posts, and the video in the post are not displayed when using X (formerly Twitter). Initially I thought my security software blocked the contents, but I do not have such issues when used another web browser on the same PC, or the app on my Android.

Could you please let me know how to fix these? I have a lot of bookmarks and passwords saved, so I do not want to lose them.

I get the above message when signing into a web site that I use. What does the message "404 INVALID URL" mean, why does it appear and how can I correct it?? I have checked the URL (address I am trying to reach) and it is spelled correctly.
