After an update yesterday, I found out the password manager integrated in Firefox was completely empty. I tried to rename logins.json.corrupt into logins.json, I tried deactivating all the plugins and I also tried copying the file into a new Firefox profile but it got corrupted right away again. If I put in an old logins.json it works but unfortunately it's a saved file from about 3 years ago.... Any idea about how I could get my passwords back? How to "uncorrupt" the logins.json?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open any website with latest Firefox version on latest Windows 11 Home OS version
2. Copy any text that has a font or color
3. Paste it to any other website or desktop application

Expected behavior: Pasted text has the same font and color as copied text

Actual behavior: Pasted text has the same font and color as in the cursor position of the destination application's text editor.

Found workarounds: Use Chrome, Edge or any other browser.

Bug reproduced on 2 computers with and without Firefox extensions.

Yesterday, Amazon disappeared from the Firefox search drop down menu and it had disappeared as an option from the list of possible search tools. Later on in the day, it reappeared. This morning it had disappeared. Amazon is still there, but Firefox seems disinclined to admit that. How can Firefox make Amazon stick?

I don't think "Tabs" is the right topic, but maybe it's the best of the choices since "Other" isn't an option.

I have an email with a link to a monthly newsletter, which should take me to February's issue. When I click on, or copy/paste, the link, I end up with the January issue. When I copy/paste in Chrome and Safari, I get the February issue. The newsletter people suggested clearing my cache/cookies in Firefox, but that didn't help. No matter how I try to navigate to the newsletter in Firefox, I get to January. I have tried everything I can think of, and still get the January issue in Firefox, while that same link gets me the February issue in Safari and Chrome.

I'm using Firefox 122.0.1, on a MacBook Pro (Sonoma 14.2.1).

I'd appreciate any ideas you might have!

While hovering over a Youtube video it shows the full video title as "hover text" if the tab is focused. However, if something else, even another Firefox window is focused hovering no longer shows anything. Is there some kind of setting to change that? I figured it could be browser and Youtube specific because Chrome shows it on Youtube even when not focused, but neither browser shows it on Google search for example, but I'm not sure.

I got a popup tab with a very dated UI about an urgent Firefox update involving a flash player. It told me to click allow installation or something like that I don't remember exactly. Once I clicked the allow button there was a popup and a green arrow pointing to the popup in the top right. I clicked it and it said to click "add" next. I realized this is probably a scam and did not add it. I'm assuming that add was referring to something about extensions or plugins but I checked those and there wasn't anything I already knew I had. I did a virus scan and it got nothing. The popup appeared alongside a Minecraft Skindex download. I did some research and learned it is malware and comes in many different forms. The add popup referenced something called auto ads off. Did I stop the malware by not clicking add and if not how do I remove it.

I AM UNABLE TO LOG ON TO USAA.COM. THE ERROR MESSAGE SAYS "WE ARE UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH YOU RE REQUEST." THE WEB SITE CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS MY PASSWORD IS CORRECT AND THE SITE IS WORKING. PER THEIR ADVISE ALL HISTORY HAS BEEN DELETED AND THE COMPUTER HAS BEEN RESTARTED. THE SAME PROBLEM EXISTS ON ANOTHER DEVISE CONNECTED TO THE SAME WI-FI. PLEASE HELP. ACCESS TO OTHER SITES IS WORKING. THE SITE IS NOT BLOCKED AS FAR AS I CAN TELL.

Jak go kliknę to nie podpowiada żadnego hasła ale jest on widoczny automatycznie a nie chcę żeby był widoczny. I have a question about the way Firefox browsers behave from a PC to an Android device. I have a simple non responsive HTML CSS website that I have built that looks good on a Windows PC browser but on my Android devices the layout is slightly off. I have tried a few tricks to solve the issue by adding a bit of length to a page so I could space out the text boxes and the links but it didn't help. The best way to describe this is to let you see a couple of snapshots so someone can see the actual issue first-hand. I normally test my websites on two different browsers with the other browser being Chrome. I test both on PC and Android and the issue is only showing up on Android devices. I am a Firefox user but I still test across a few different browsers to see how a website will behave. As mentioned, I only see this issue with Firefox on my Android devices and I have not been able to solve this issue. I would like to ask you if you can advise me on this issue. Thank you, Mike

Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit Firefox. Firefox has crashed daily for the last week. Firefox and windows are up to date. Latest crash report is bp-d098dc67-4cd0-4bfa-a9ed-94d1d0240218. Any idea what is happening? What other information is needed?

hi when I go to github it says Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue whereas before it worked fine but now it doesn't :/ I have watched so many tuto on yt but no one work i have clear my data i removed my antivirus and all my extensions and went into private browsing but I still get this error.

Hi how do I i prevent Firefox from going into efficiency mode. When Firefox goes into efficiency mode it be comes slow and unresponsive. if I manually uncheck efficiency mode in task manager Firefox becomes quicker and less laggy until a few seconds to minutes later it goes back into it. The performance of Firefox in efficiency mode makes it almost unusable and can take up to a minute for it to start working again.

Any suggestions? After I type in a website on the firefox browser, I am led to the screen that says Resultsvit.com I don't go any further, concerned I might be hacked.

Hi, I am trying to install an add-on for MetaCert. I receive the following from Firefox: "Check This by MetaCert by MetaCert". This does not help to install the add-on. This is not a problem on my other PC. Look forward to your help/suggestions. Best, Stephen Rodgers
