I use doxy me for telehealth. Recently my clients have been having audio issues, hearing their voice echo back when using telehealth. Doxy said it is the Firefox browser. They have had reports from other users of Firefox, that since the most recent update, people have had audio issues with echos when talking. They suggested I not use Firefox as a browser when working with Doxy me. Is there anyway this can be corrected or will I have to switch to Chrome as my go to browser?

Does Firefox allow you to use a webmail service such as Yahoo for Firefox's mail functions. Every time I try to make Yahoo the default mailto app, I can't find the actual app. Can I make Yahoo mail the default mailto app, if so how?

The google search bar on the home page has increased in size and my extensions/add on such as cache cleaner and adblocker do not appear on the toolbar even though they are turned on. I tried refreshing Firefox but that did not solve the problems. Thank you

I saw no difference when enabled.

I have restarted Firefox to no avail. I wish not to uninstall and re-install as I have several important bookmarks I don't want to get rid off.

This one download keeps persisting. When I click the x, nothing happens. When I try to cancel it, nothing happens. It doesn't make any progress and doesn't do anything else aside from prevent me from downloading other files. It is really beginning to stress me out.

Please help.

None of my pw managers are working on Firefox now. They use to. The extensions are in place. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the managers. I have reviewed the settings in Firefox and notice nothing that would stop any of the managers to work. They allow for the email to be populated but the actual passwords will not. And as I said this is the same for any of the password managers I have, i.e., not just one. Should I uninstall Firefox?

Factory reset android phone, trying to sync with my account. Tells me my password is wrong, but it's the SAME as what's stored in the cookie! If I try to change it, it tells me whatever I've entered as a new password is wrong? Can't win!

I have multiple "instances" of all of my bookmarks in my Library--specifically, the Bookmarks Menu, the Folders within that menu and all of the individual bookmarks within each folder. (See attached; I'm just keeping the Bookmark Menu level but trust me, each one of those 5 instances has the exact same list of Folders and associated bookmarks.) I just want to see ONE instance of them in my library, not all of these redundant instances. When I delete ANY bookmark or folder in ANY of the multiple instances, ALL instances of that bookmark or folder get deleted. Searching the forums, I get solutions for combining duplicates, or backup/restoring bookmarks, or "turning off sync." But none of these relate to my issue (e.g., sync has never been on). They don't act like duplicates (where if you delete one the other remains). It acts as if there are multiple "pointers" to the same menu/folder/bookmark.

Can someone please assist with how I can get rid of the redundant instances/listings of the Bookmark Menu, folders and bookmarks without deleting all of them? I'd ideally like to keep the first one, underneath the Bookmarks Toolbar, so it shows up at the top of my screen.

My favorites/bookmarks has too many duplicate saved web sites on it, How do I remove the duplicates? This was not of my doing most have been repeated on my favorites bar/list 3 or more times. I am not sure how to delete the duplicates and not the originals. Can anyone Help me with this?

Hello, After the last update (September 2023), I've been having issues with in-game ads being blocked, even with exceptions added and Advanced Tracking options turned off.

I got them to work for a couple of days, but now they're being blocked again. I've cleared cache & cookies, restarted Firefox, reset permissions, all have not helped.

Please advise!

As per subject. After i close FF - and it is no longer showing as an app in Task manager. When i try to restart it, it says it's still running and i have to ask it to close FF before it will open it again. AFAICS It happens randomly.

It may be relevant that when using CCleaner, it often (randomly) hangs when cleaning FF internet cache and says FF needs to be closed when it is already closed and does not appear in task manager. If i ask CCleaner to close FF, the application hangs.

Less likely perhaps to be relevant: i got a rogue change of Favicon on one site. I eventually deleted the relevant file hoping the Favicons would repopulate. Most have, but many haven't including hotmail and protonmail sites.

There seem to be many causes/solutions to FF hanging but i thought these specific circumstances might make it easier to suggest what the problem is exactly and how to fix it.

Lately, Bookmarks has been deselecting itself in Sync on all three of my computers. This has happened twice in the past few days. No problem with other Sync items.

Ever since switching to Windows 11 I've had an issue with Firefox. Any time I copy something in Firefox, be it image, article text, or even a url from the address bar, I cannot paste it anywhere, and my copy and paste stops working. The only way to fix it is to close Firefox, and then run rdpclip.exe as an administrator. I've confirmed the issue only occurs if I try copying from Firefox, as it doesn't happen in Edge.

Does anyone know what might be causing this. It's very frustrating.
