I have tried everything but my sites show up in microfonts and run off the page, examples are Amazon and Mailchimp. I then have to enlarge it and end up scrolling to the right to try and see the whole page. I went to the settings and changed fonts & font sizes but the problem remains. It drives me crazy and it is also time consuming. What am I not doing right or how can I resolve this?

Suddenly my Firefox stopped opening links on a page and when I open a new tab I can only get a blank page or the Firefox default page. Before this happened (and I didn't make any changes, just turned on my computer one day and things changed) I could open a new tab and it opened with my chosen URL, which happens to be msn.com, and say after opening I did a search for something and then clicked a link, it would open the link. Now I click a link and it shows a new tab up top, but never opens anything, just the circle going and going and going. Also when I open a new tab I can only get a blank page or Firefox default page, where I used to get my msn page. When the problem originally started I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled in hopes it would fix this, but it didn't. I have spent hours trying to Google an answer. As soon as I use Edge, everything works fine, I can click links all day long. I have used Firefox forever and don't want to give it up, but if I can't solve the problem, I can't use it because it's SO frustrating and time consuming not to be able to open a link. The blank page or Firefox default I guess I could get used to, even though it's super annoying for it not to work, when it did for years. Thank you for anyone who might be able to help.

Hi, Is it possible to make Firefox resize the information when I resize the Firefox window? Often when I resize, I can't see all of the content and have to slide the scroll bar to see the entire page. Is there a way to make it automatically adjust the information to fit the window?

Hello, Firefox is my browser of choice for privacy and accessibility reasons. However, the speech recognition software I have been provided (Dragon professional 16) requires an extension to be installed that Firefox does not allow.

I was given the following information by Nuance, the company who manufacture the software: "The Dragon Professional web extension for Firefox is not anymore supported in Dragon 16 as Mozilla has blocked this web extension quoting a violation of their toughened security guidelines and requirements for such browser extensions on 10.06.2023 with the release of Firefox v105.

The reinstallation of the respective XPI file does not resolve the issue, especially because there is - and likely will be for the time being - no new adaptation of the web extension available.

However, our web extension should work fine if you decide to opt out of blocking extensions that have been listed as potentially dangerous by Mozilla. On your own risk you can prevent Firefox from carrying out the blocklist by changing the appropriate setting in the browser's configuration ("about:config") but Nuance does not recommend this. Further information is available from Mozilla."

If anyone can help with this, as I need the software for accessibility reasons and I don't want to be forced onto another browser because of it.

I just switched to a new computer and I believe I changed my Firefox Sync password without realizing it deletes my entire profile (I only noticed the warning after going to change it a second time!) - which I would really like to get back. On my iPad, which I moved from, my old bookmarks still show up in their entirety when I hit "bookmarks" - and everything else seems to be there. Firefox on the iPad is asking me to sign in but I don't want to do that, in case it erases everything there. Is there any way to retrieve my profile either from the iPad, on which it still seems to exist in some form, or by another method? Thank you.

I have login on several devices using this account but it not syncing the the stuff across the devices Please if you can help here without losing the data.

Many web pages now 'flash' when opened in FF (128.0.3 64bit W10). ALL graphics images turn on then off in synchrony. Text does not seem to be affected. Disabling HW acceleration has no effect.

youtube always crash after sometime. i've 16Gb of ram, so it took sometime for me. but the crash is inevitable.

in the console, i saw some errors. mostly 401 and CORS to google ads domain. we all know that youtube is doing something shady to catch Adblock users.

no adblock, no extension, clean profile and incognito mode. it still happen. this problem is not unique to firefox, it happen to chrome too.

all my tabs from open session disappeared?!?!?

and no way to restore it; the option disappeared and I never erased it or close any of the tabs manually and it was on sync. Where did they all go ? I can see now the history from my laptop mixed with my mobile under the history tab but the session disappeared?!?!

Firefox use to be EXCEPTIONAL and 2 years ago it star5ed to go downward; please convince me to stay loyal and not switch to brave or opera; this is becoming worst every months.

Apologies if this is a recurring topic but couldn't find a reply that I could understand or was useful. I exported my bookmarks via HTML file and imported them to another laptop. They are showing in Bookmarks Menu > Bookmarks Toolbar but not on actual Toolbar. Sorry but non tech answer please.

I am facing an issue where i sometimes search but it doesn't load. Its as if the links breaks. Refreshing doesn't work. I open a new tab and sometimes it works or i spam my search then it loads.

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. I have a somewhat elderly version of Linux, which I cannot upgrade for a variety of reasons, using FF-55.0.3, which is "plugged in" to all the local audio-video libraries, but also runs a current Mozilla-128.0.3 binary, which cannot access those libraries. I use both on a regulat basis. Recently "55" lost history tracking and cannot make new bookmarks (however old boolmarks are still present). How can i restore 55's ability to track history and make new bookmarks without losing what's there? Is there a relevant variable or two in about:config I can reset?

Everything I get from the NYTimes goes straight to my spam folder, which is not the case with Google Chrome. I've had a GEEK Squad tech try to fix the problem, but he couldn't. Is there any way I can solve this longstanding problem? (I get lots of emails from the NYTimes because I participate in their comment threads, where I check the box to be alerted when someone responds to my comment, but that all goes into my spa folder. It's frustrating!)

Hi, guys! This is driving me crazy! PLEASE, HELP!

Here, both Google Docs and .pdf files (from any site) keep jumping pages while I'm reading.

For example, from page 2, it goes to 9, then I scroll back up and it's on 15, etc.

I've already tried deleting all cookies, clearing the cache, completely uninstalling Firefox from my PC, but it always happens. I'm having this issue for weeks.

I tried uninstalling extensions, but I can't solve it. It's a nightmare.
