I recently got a chromebook and the firefox sync is not working on it. For "last synced" it gives the last time I tried to refresg it but nothing syncs up. I've had it for a few hours and since it's via google play I beleive it's technically the Android version.

Every now and then, somebody asks why Firefox Sync fails so hard when it comes to custom search engines such as those installed from mycroft.mozdev.org, now https://mycroftproject.com/ for no apparent reason. We are talking about OpenSearch standard and Sherlock.

As of now, the search results on https://support.mozilla.org are either archived or unanswered. Please work on the ranking of search results so users can see

• when a thread has been started / last updated
• which answer is actually solving the problem or at least linking to the correct statement of the developers concerning the topic.

My company just pushed out new group policies for Firefox that blocks use of Firefox Sync. That also, apparently, blocked use of my saved logins and passwords.

I can find the encrypted password files in my profile: key4.db logins.json

but I can't open them.

Is there any way to get my login and password information?

I'm working on a new computer, as my work laptop is being upgraded to Windows 11. In the meantime, I have logged into Firefox, but none of the login info that I had previously saved is available. I can still see it on my mobile browser, but not on this new laptop.

Am I just missing a step?

Hi I had restalled my laptop and hence firefox on laptop. But after that, I have been unable to retrieve my old data from firefox. All my bookmarks, history, open tabs have been lost. Please help me resolve this issue urgently.

After my PC had a blue screen, I reinstalled Windows. Since I use Firefox Snc, I relied on it. Unfortunately, I had to realize that after reinstalling and successfully logging in to fIrefox sync, all my data is gone. He says that he has successfully syncronized, but all bookmarks are missing as well as the settings.

I changed my firefox account password and lost all of my saved logins and bookmarks is there any way to restore it please help its very imp coz i dont have backup.

Hi! I have a primary computer with all bookmarks, history, extensions, etc. I've logged in to another computer and clicked to sync my information, but nothing is coming over. Now I'm worried my bookmarks, etc., have been erased, but I won't have access to my primary computer for several days. Is the sync just not working? Please help, thank you.

I use Firefox in 4 Machines.. very recently I signed my firefox account in College PC.. after signing in there when I try to open in my laptop. I lost all the pinned sites in my firefox. it only shows the College PC pinned websites and histories.. not the previous ones

I used the same account with two computers. I always keep my account in sync. Actually, they do not. My previous notebook has a series of bookmarks, but the bookmarks in the latter one is exactly different. It seems like two accounts, but I log in with the same account. Miracly, when I log the same account with my phone, the bookmarks in my phone is sync with my previous notebook I don't know how to solve it and appreciate your answer.

I work at a small company I had to do a windows recover on a users laptop. He logged back in to firefox which had all of his passwords saved and now none of them are populating is there anyway to get them back? They are vital to his job.

Both my computer and my tablet are logged into my Firefox account, the page at accounts.firefox.com lists both devices, yet for some reason they won't sync. I've synced two mobile devices before, and it worked fine. I've spent a good portion of today trying to figure it out, and have gone half mad from frustration. Please can you help me? Thank you!

Latest Firefox on multiple Windows 10 systems. One of my devices is missing from "Send Tab To Device" list on one system. There are 10 others in the menu list, but not the one device I want. The device I want is shown under Managed Devices (Connected Services)

when I press my email for the account tab, I dont see my previous tabs from other devices. I have an entire session gone from a pervious computer I'd like to continue.

I just got a new iPhone SE and want to transfer my Firefox passwords, maybe home-screen favorites, but not all the history, extensive bookmarks, etc. from my Mac. Is there a way to do that?

I recently did a factory reset on my laptop, and I thought that the firefox settings will be saved when I next connect. I lost all the websites that I was connected to and all of my browser settings. Is there any way to get all my settings back?

I transitioned over to a new Macbook. After installing Firefox I opted to log in to my "sync account" in order to retrieve all my bookmarks, add-ons, saved passwords etc. that I was using on my previous Macbook. On the old Mac, I synced the Firefox profile data one last time and formatted the device. Now when I log in with the account, no data gets synced. There definitely was an account as when I followed the sign-in process, it didn't ask me to create a new account. It simply asked for my email, followed by my password and the One-Time-Password that was sent to my email.

As a test, I signed out of this profile on the new Mac after not getting any results and tried to sign in with another Firefox profile. It immediately started retrieving that profile's data (I.e add-ons started getting installed). I cancelled that sync to not fill the browser with that data. But logging into the troublesome account again, still no data gets retrieved.

I really need to retrieve that profile with all my data. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
