I am unable to either log in or access accounts on the websites indeed.com, x.com and chatgpt's openai.com

I used different computers (Windows 10 and Windows 11), different networks (Public library and private residence), and different versions of Firefox (125 and 126.0), one browser without any add ons and another with the "uBlock Origin" one, and I kept observing captcha or human authentication related errors.

With x.com, I would pass the human verification challenge (solve 10 puzzles), and then I would get the error "Something went wrong. Due to a technical issue, we couldn't complete this request. Please try again." Just lately after decade plus of using Firefox I am getting computer hung up, nothing running but Firefox with 7 tabs open. That is how I been running FF for years, same 7 tabs open and no problems until a coupler months ago. I am on Windows 10 64 bit current with May updates, 12GB main memory, Intel Core i5 @ 3.20GHz, 500 GB WD HDD. The task manager right now is showing 49 FF processes running. All is well right now, but maybe by end of day or tomorrow it will hang up. Right now Virtual memory is set at 14838. I have it set at automatic manage paging file. My hard drive has 281 GB free space. Below is a warning error I see when FF hangs and sends in a report.

Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: firefox.exe (9264) consumed 41230716928 bytes, firefox.exe (1824) consumed 1195388928 bytes, and vmmem (1768) consumed 515567616 bytes.

BTW I am on FF 126.0

My FF version 126.0.1 browser history file size is stuck at 10,240 KB. Until recently it was 54,000 KB and change. I would like to get it larger. I've tried all the recent help postings relating to places.history.expiration.max_pages, places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages, browser.history_expire_days, browser.sessionhistory.max_entries or browser.sessionhistory_max_entries, and so on. Nothing seems to be able to change the "places" file size. Anyone have any more info on this topic?

When I am on YouTube's website if I click (or right click) and of the other YouTube video links Every link on the page opens up. This doesn't happen if a use any other browser.

Firefox browser not working right. I can change about 3 screens than it just spins back & forth it wont chage half to close & open back up to get it to change crome dont do that & the slide bar on side dont work when you change screens wont go back to top poor service fixing it

This is an utterly bizarre issue, and I don't know if it's my fault. On most web page I go to, when typing in an input field, each time I press A, whatever my mouse cursor is hovering over is clicked. This is extremely annoying and inconvenient. I may be searching google when I'm redirected back to the google home page. I might be typing in duolingo when the question is suddenly submitted and I am marked incorrect. It's a major inconvenience and I have no clue what could be causing it. It's only in firefox, not any other browser. It's only in web pages themselves, not in the url bar.

I am not referring to anything regarding YouTube. This issue is with my Firefox web browser. When I long onto frequently used web pages parts of the page are no longer visible. What causes this and how do I fix this?

Every half hour the browser freezes and turns off, this did not happen in previous versions of the browser, some bug was made during the development of the update, it is necessary to fix the bug and release the update

When I try calling some of my Facebook friends from my PC, I get this message "Video calling is not supported on this browser " . But when I try calling other Facebook friends, everything works just well. When I try calling my Facebook friends from my cellphone, no problem.

I've tried downloading 2 different add-ons to replace loaded words in newspaper articles with more accurate ones. However, they are useless unless I can specify which words to replace. There used to be an option to edit settings for a particular add-on in about:addons, but it has vanished. Where can it be found now?

Recently Firefox always has the error "failed to check for update". I have tried restarting my pc and running as admin. I am on windows 10.

I have been able to manually install the latest version by installing it over the top of my current install, how can I fix the error to be sure that my browser will auto update?

Discovered that until now I had been unable to store passwords on this browser, and discovered I would need to set a Primary Password before being able to set any. I followed the recommended instructions to set one, but no matter what I entered, it would be unable to set. (Password quality meter was not full (75-80%~), if that is significant.)

After this, I would receive continuous pop-up windows asking to set a Primary Password, but all attempts to set such a password would fail (Window named :"Alert", with text stating "Unable to Change Password.") These would persist until I shut down my computer, and I stopped receiving these popup windows, but ultimately, I am still unable to set a primary password., and thus, am unable to save passwords.

(Pop-up Windows were labelled "Change Password", and had text stating "Security Device: Software Security Device", along with having the password change form)

I am trying to go to mylogin.aflac.com which I always went to and was fine and now all the sudden I get that I need a passkey now. see attached for problem and please fix it. thanks

I did lost all history data after a previous update, my user got corrupted data and somehow I did manage to import the info into Edge browser. To my surprise after I reinstalled a clean Firefox, it only imported back 3 months of browsing history. Topically, average user keep a computer 3-4 years.. I don't know from where developers came with the idea of limiting to such a shot interval. I have thousands of browsing history links from more that 10 years kept and I need them all.

Tried to increase the number from about:config, but there is an option only for Chrome which I never used and always hate :)

I did installed Chrome to convince myself about it's ingenuity, even if it was not necessary. It does have import option only from Microsoft Explorer, no Edge.

If there is a solution for importing a longer period and high number of entries, please share it.

I'm not an IT expert, but I can manage consoles if there is an even deeper option to modify config files.

Firefox Installer.exe starts and, after some time, gives that error message: Ihr Profil "Firefox" kann nicht geladen werden. Es ist möglicherweise nicht vorhanden oder ein Zugriff ist nicht möglich.
