Help me stop the DNS log flood with connection requests to

push.services.mozilla.com

which are blocked.

dom.push.connection.enabled = false dom.push.enabled = false

Seems a tad deceptive. UI settings for notifications has none allowed and new requests blocked.

On a related note I would like instructions to have the browser cease attempted conversations with these resources

firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com shavar.services.mozilla.com content-signature-2.cdn.mozilla.net aus5.mozilla.org

All experiments disabled yet normandy.cdn.mozilla.net

If mozilla respects privacy why are not experiments opt-IN?

I just lost several hundred tabs on Firefox mobile right after it updated itself. The most recent tabs show only ten of those tabs, which were all opened and closed today and aren't part of what I need to restore.

How do I get my tabs back? I've seen no 'restore previous session' option. My laptop only shows the few I have open now. What do I do to restore them?

Hi, 3 weeks ago I suddenly could not log in to my email without errors.

First I get a Google screen "Choose an account" showing the three Gmail accounts I use. I select the first one.

"Mozilla Thunderbird wants to access your Google Account". This refers to calendars. I take the Allow option.

Then I get the message "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Thunderbird detected a potential security threat and did not continue to localhost. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details."

When I close this window I get another Google screen .

I have seen hints that this might be a certificate issue but I have tried in vain to find certificates stored in Thunderbird.

Hi, it seems that my Firefox browser does not want to save a new payment method. I'm trying to access "Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Autofill" and then click on "Saved payment methods", which opens a dialog with the existing payment methods and options to remove/add/edit. I'm clicking on Add, filling-in the card details and then clicking Save, nothing happens....

I previously had a working saved payment method, but it stopped working (I think more than 6 months ago). I tried to re-enable the credit cards by setting the following configs on about:config page:

- extensions.formautofill.creditCards.available: true
- extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries: '...,RO' -> (I was adding my country to the existing list)

After the browser restart with those new settings when I'm on a payment page, clicking on a credit card field will show the saved credit card but if I click on it, it will not fill the details. And also trying to save a new card, manually as described previously in this message, or by the automatically prompt to save a new card after a successful payment was done. Both methods failed on me but with no error (I cannot see the saved payment on the list).

I tried removing the existing saved card, it worked removing it, but the add is still not working.

I also tried restarting in save mode, launching Firefox in a separate profile and added my country on the creditCards config for supportedCountries to show the "Saved payment methods" button on new profile, and it did not change anything.

I'm thinking there is a missing permission somewhere on the disk but I don't know where is the payment data stored on disk.

I would really appreciate any help on this.

PS: Check the attached pic to see the payment add and clicking the save button does nothing (also there are no validation errors). And the other: FF version, OS, troubleshooting info.

When logging into a Wordpress site on Firefox, hovering over Username displays a gear (see first screenshot) which when clicked on exposes passwords and allows them to be edited (see second screenshot). This does not happen on other browsers. I'm on Firefox 126.0, MacOS Big Sur 11.7.10

Hey, I have been trying to figure out native Firefox solution for deleting firefox history after it's set number of days old. I did found solutions for older verions of firefox, and some addons, but nothing that's native or current.

I think having history is incredibly useful short term, lets say a week or some days, but I don't think I have ever had to dig trough my old history for something. Usually what you need is to find some page you closed recently or something. And while I would like to use deleting history after closing browser, it interferes with stuff that I'm logged in, reopening tabs after closing etc. And ofc, it actually deletes history which is useful short term.

This is both request for help and improvement. It would be nice to have option on "clear history when firefox closes" settings, to delete any selected data older than set number of days for instance. Or if there already isn't, something similar in about:config.

My wife & I have the same PCs running Windows 10 & Thunderbird 115.11.0 (32bit).

We have a hosted web-site that also supports email, and we each have an email account (eg neddy@goon.com.au & minnie@goon.com.au). I've checked that both our POP server configurations are identical but despite that about once a week minnie@goon.com.au receives a warning to add security exception but neddy doesn't. This started happening two weeks ago after a years error free running.

The host has checked that goon.com.au has a valid SSL certificate, so what could be causing the discrepancy and how do I set about fixing it please?

Firefox's DNS over HTTPS is preventing my access to 2 websites I've used for years for booking golf tee times. The 2 sites are www.roosterrun.com and www.windsorgolf.com. I want to remove this feature and return my PC to it's previous settings. Please help. John Blevins bold text

Hello, I am using Firefox for my company. We are using Quickbase system to access the data from internal server. Previously, I can allow Firefox to show the image that classified as unsecured context. I could see the setting option to allow unsecured pictures. But now I changed my account on my computer and when I use firefox, I can not see the image file from server and also I can not find how to allow unsecure picture. Is there way to set to allow unsecure stuff from Firefox? Please let me know.

I am trying to remove the mobilisearch.com virus from my Firefox browser. I have tried a reset and have also tried the Zemana virus removal tool. Neither have worked. Any suggestions please

I have an issue trying to configure a secondary email account, for a non-profit I do some work for. It was ok in the past, though I recall was tricky to set up on TB a couple of years ago. But now it has ceased to function after I migrated TB profile (successfully apart from this issue) no matter what I try. I’d be grateful for any suggestions. As is the case with many non-profits, there’s little tech support, but others can use the email account ok. I think it may be a TB issue as I have been able to set up the account ok with MS new Windows Outlook app (lame, but better than Mail…low bar). I’d rather have this account on my TB client along with the others I use. And the issue is replicated on two of my PCs. TB account set up reports “can’t detect settings from host server”. I found a support thread link text, which says “The failure to detect settings is rather common where hosted domains are concerned. Mostly because everything is done to a price and most of the things around encryption are done in a halfhearted manner. As is the server setups for mail. However by faithfully copying the settings from the provider as to domains server name and ports it should work.” So I did manual configuration – copied the settings from the successful Outlook set up, but no dice – all I get is server time out message. Settings are: IMAP server: mail.XXXX.org.uk Port 993 Security SSL/TLS [earlier working settings were STARTTLS port 143] SMTP server: mail.XXXX.org.uk Port 465 Security SSL/TLS [[earlier working settings were STARTTLS port 587] And using Normal Password for both; I tried Autodetect too but no good. I’ve see a suggestion that turning off the firewall (Norton) might work, but I’m reluctant to do that and doesn’t seem to make sense that would cause the issue. Hello, I have an odd situation. I have a new job, and want to sign into Firefox at work to sync my bookmarks and settings. The problem is that I seem to have saved the password wrong. My home laptop is working great as long as I don't sign out, but the system won't let me change my password without the old one. Is there any way to reset the password without having all my stuff wiped? Or can I do a backup on my home PC first, then do a reset/wipe, then restore? Thanks.

I just accidentally deleted my account and i just can't remember my password but i don't want to reset my password because my data could be deleted and i have no backups and no other way to get my account back besides resetting my password
