Why does Google come up in my type in bar when I open Firefox?

When I open the web page using Firefox the type in bar is listed as Google??? Why, Is Firefox not my web browser???

When I open the web page using Firefox the type in bar is listed as Google??? Why, Is Firefox not my web browser???

Solution choisie

Google is a search engine, not a "web browser". Firefox features Google as the default search engine, but you can easily use any search engine you so desire by changing the search engine in the search bar.

Google is a search engine, not a "web browser". Firefox features Google as the default search engine, but you can easily use any search engine you so desire by changing the search engine in the search bar.
