I have a Facebook Activity plugin running on my website which is visible on my laptop but not on my home computer, running Firefox 8 on both. I have already upgraded my browser to Firefox 8. Any suggestions?
I have Pop-up Blocker eneabled, but don't think it's that.

The browser you posted here with "looks like" an older version to the websites that you visit.

Your UserAgent string in Firefox is messed up by another program that you installed.

type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Filter = general.useragent.
Right-click the preferences that are bold, one line at a time, and select Reset.
Then restart Firefox

Thanks. There are many lines bolded, do I reset all of them or just the ones with general.useragent. ?
