Firefox 3.66/4.0b2 reverts to beta1 after window close.

Okay, here's exactly how this issue is happening to me: First, I installed Firefox 4.0 Beta 1. No other version of Firefox was installed previously (new harddrive/fresh OS installation) Some of my favorite addons were incompatible, so, with 4.0b1 still installed, I then installed 3.6.6 4.0b1 was installed in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 1\ (default) 3.6.6 was installed in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ (default)

I then open Firefox 3.6.6 and do some basic browsing. After a while, I close the window, and about an hour later, try opening 3.6.6 again. Instead, 4.0b1 opens. I check my desktop, and I have two shortcut icons (as I should), but both lead to "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"

I direct Explorer to "C:\Program Files\", and, to my surprise, there is no longer a "Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 1" folder.

I then reinstall 3.6.6 in the default directory. It opens correctly. I close the browser window, and reopen it. Still 3.6.6 Later, I open it again, and its 4.0b1 again.

Then, I uninstall Firefox, and install 4.0b2. After closing it, 4.0b1 opens.

What is going on here?!
