Since upgrading to 3.6.4, I get repeated 'Firefox is in offline mode'

Since upgrading to 3.6.4, Firefox repeatedly pops up 'Firefox is in Offline Mode' msgs. This occurs when paging within a website, when changing to a new website. It happens with various websites in no consistent pattern. I have disabled the one plug-in that was not compatible with 3.6.4 and this made no difference. My connection is a very stable Verizon FiOS and other web applications are running consistently concurrently.

Every time Firefox opened

Since upgrading to 3.6.4, Firefox repeatedly pops up 'Firefox is in Offline Mode' msgs. This occurs when paging within a website, when changing to a new website.
