Hi, the Bookmark Manager / Library window (Ctrl+Shift+O as in Organizer) has three separate categories:

• Toolbar
• Menu
• Other

The Toolbar category in the Library window should match the horizontal toolbar below the main toolbar. Does that category at least match? If not, what kind of differences do you see?

The answer is that they don't match. The list of bookmarks in the Bookmark manager / Library (Ctrl+Shift+O) is an older version, while the one in the actual toolbar is much more recent.

If you search for one of the new ones (using the small search box at the upper right of the Library), then right-click the result and choose "Show in Folder", does it appear in an unexpected location/category/folder?

Thanks again. I believe the issue lies in the difference between the Bookmarks Toolbar and the Bookmarks Menu. I will read about both and try to figure out how this works.

Firefox keeps the folders and bookmarks on the Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar, and Other Bookmarks separate, but you can move items between them.

If you think it might be useful, you can add an optional bookmarks menu button to the toolbar () using the Customize panel (Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars).
