Why am I signed into youtube automatically?
I went to check one of my gmail messages and when I opened youtube in another tab It had me signed into youtube with the email I was checking!! what the F**K is this? I didn't want it to sign in with that, it's not only frustrating but I could see for people on public computers having major privacy issues with this. How can I NOT have it sign into youtube automatically when I used gmail? Those are two different things for me with different purposes. It's super frustrating and a breech of privacy, very upsetting.

As you know, YouTube signs you in using your Google account. Unless you isolate YouTube from Google using either a private window or a container tab, YouTube can piggyback on your signed-in status using your Google cookies.
To test this out with a private window, instead of using a regular click on the link to the video, try:
right-click > Open Link in New Private Window
And for public computer purposes, always sign out of your Google account before leaving the keyboard since you can't afford to have anyone take over your Gmail account.
