Cannot receive new messages or delete older messages in Thunderbird

I can still send but suddenly cannot receive messages in Thunderbird. Would-be senders receive an "undeliverable" notice. Also, older messages I delete from my inbox reappear there after a few minutes. Help?

Sounds to me like the issue is with your mail provider, not your email client.

If folk sending you mail are getting rejection notices, generally they contain some information, like account full or sometimes simply undeliverable because the account no longer exists with that mail provider.

I suggest you try logging into your mail providers web site and see what mail account they say you still have.
