That is not possible, you need to leave 'S' mode to be able to install an application like Firefox.

Regular Firefox might not be able to run on "S" versions of Windows (the one from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/new/).
But maybe the version in the Microsoft store will? Could you check, either in the Microsoft Store app or using: https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/mozilla-firefox/9NZVDKPMR9RD
