Links added to home screen stopped working

I have used links to websites added to home screen. These shortcuts recently stopped working. If I use bookmark on Firefox Android it opens. If I copy url to Chrome and create a shortcut link on home screen it works. Is there a Firefox setting that changed? I've used these shortcuts without problem on this phone until past week or so.

I'm on Android 11 updated to Oct 2022. Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro 5G. Firefox 107.1.0 with "add shortcuts to home screen" enabled.

I have used links to websites added to home screen. These shortcuts recently stopped working. If I use bookmark on Firefox Android it opens.
