Using Macbook Air M1 with Monterey.

I've spent most of the night trying to find a solution to the blank, unresponsive screen since TB updated. No folders, accounts, messages, etc. *(see attached image). I'm not the only one with this problem, but in all the "solved" discussions of this problem, none of the solutions have worked for me.

I've toggled between themes, uninstalled/reinstalled TB, checked all settings and configs, run in troubleshoot mode, cleared the caches... Nothing has worked.

Also, in the "About Thunderbird" pop up, I'm in an endless prompt loop to 'restart to install update'.

I'm able to create and send new messages from this blank page, and I receive them on my other devices. So, it would seem my configs are fine. Kind of lost at this point. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

While asking, are you using a non english US version?

Hello Matt, It's an english US version. See screenshot below.

I have the same problem. My Thunderbird mail client began opening up almost entirely blank, as shown below. I can still click "Write" and successfully send messages, but I can't see any folders or messages in order to actually read my email.

I am running Thunderbird 102.3.3 (64-bit) under ubuntu-snap-build 1.0, on Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS (64-bit), and GNOME Version 3.36.8.

I have tried enabling and disabling Hardware acceleration and restarting Thunderbird, but to no avail.

Also, reverting to Thunderbird 102.3.1-2 via snap revert thunderbird 259 has no effect.

My (partial) solution: going to https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/ and then selecting the very latest (beta) version of Thunderbird, unpacking & installing it. I then ran "./thunderbird --ProfileManager" first to make sure that I was selecting my old user profile, and -- bang! -- I can now see all my emails, but I still cannot see my Lightning Calendar appointments.

Specifically, the version I'm now running is the Linux 64-bit version of 107.0b1: https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/107.0b1/
