Clearing cash, cookies does not remove everything. 143 remain and I don't know why or who is being kept (scammers or good guys). How can you solve this issue?

Hi DLAlfano, I assume you are in the "Cookies and Site Data" section of the Settings page, Privacy & Security panel?

You can use the "Manage Data" button to see how many cookies remains, and how much offline website storage is being used.

If those are empty, then the rest would be cached files. Firefox constantly downloads files in the background for the new tab page, so if this happens immediately without your loading a new page, that would be my guess. To check what's in the disk cache:

Type or page about:cache in the address bar and press Return to load that. The page should have a link to list the contents of the disk cache. It's sometimes a case of "too much information" but hopefully you can get a sense of what is in there.
