Your ‘logged-in’ status is stored in special cookies. If the cookie is removed, you are logged out.

You may be in Private Browsing mode or told Firefox not to remember.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

Do you have an allow exception crated for those websites ?

If you use "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" then you keep cookies with an allow exception. Make sure to keep the Site Preferences as that includes exceptions.

Firefox 82+ comes with a "Redirect Tracking Protection" feature to purge tracking cookies for websites that haven't been visited recently automatically. You can disable the feature to purge tracking cookies automatically via the about:config page.

  • privacy.purge_trackers.enabled = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".

How does the "manage exceptions" button in the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" option in "privacy and security" settings work. Because every time i add a website from which i want to keep login data and cookies is logged out when the next time i open Firefox. What i want to do is that i want to delete site data from all websites except some websites like pockets where i do not want to login every time i use it.
