When getting messages from pop.mail.yahoo.com I get the error "pop.mail.yahoo.com does not support UIDL or XTND XLST which are required for "Leave On Server","Maximum Message Size" or "Fetch Headers Only Option" To download your mail, turn off these options in the server settings in your mail server in the account settings window." This happens only for my Yahoo account. I have Leave On Server and turning that off is not an option. Downloading mail will process normally but after a while I get the message and can not download my Yahoo mail. I can get my Yahoo mail to download again by stopping Thunderbird and then restarting it. It will run for several hours or up to a day and the error appears again. stopping and restarting fixes it for another day or so. I believe that stopping and starting Thunderbird temporally fixes the problem that there is a bug that is popping up after a number of messages or a time and it is only Yahoo POP. If it was Yahoo it should happen every time I connect to Yahoo. That it only happens once or twice a day is more of an annoyance. Thanks for any and all assistance I'm running Thunderbird 68.10.0 (64 bit) on Ubuntu 19.10.
