can I remove personal info from images so it can't be read in firefox or other browsers

I noticed that a image I posted when opened with Firefox and use the inspect feature it shows the exact path of where that image was stored on my computer. Most likely more personal info is shown also. how can I remove the personal info before uploading it so that info doesn't show up when someone used the inspect feature in browsers
