In Thunderbird click Help Then Troubleshooting Information Copy to Clipboard Then come back here and paste that info into the reply window.
Maybe someone will spot an issue with your settings.

I did a windows upgrade after restart I down load Thunderbird again and installed. Used setup tool for first email then had to introduce Thunderbird to yahoo. now working fine. Thanks for the material to help out with.
